I bought a small stailess steal fule holder for sterno can with a shutter lid . Holds abought 5 oz fluid have two of them just put food in swing lid shut set in coals or on hot rock great way to make coffee or cook soup or a small breakfast . At Gordans foods . Can use as a bed warmer fill with coals slide lid shut wrap in foil for fire safty place in boots to dry them out. Lots ways to use them very light waite. Oh as to fire start i use sterno gell on a Q tip . And a birds nest 1 can = lots of fires started just close lid good .

Put a chem light inside a empty mag light a bit of duct tap over the lenze with a small cut away in the duct tape . This let just a small easy to hide bean of light out . Cover the hole in duct tape with finger= light out.
Blue is the hardest color for our eyes to see . So use it if you wish to be less chance to be seen .

Here is my "stealth camping story: It was in Madison, WI. I wanted to have a undisturbed (by police) night and went out to the picnic point park area near the university. I selected a spot in the brush near the lake where I presumed that I was completely hidden. However, that evening some college kids built an illegal fire in a nearby clearing. In the morning a campus police officer came out to investigate and poked around in the brush. He discovered me and accused me of having made the fire (which I had not.) After that, I slept in the middle of an open soccer field and no one bothered me.

My next steps in my life - detachment from objects, and challenge myself to find peace and mind calmness.

Why would I do this?
It complicates things and anyone really looking for me would bring dogs and or thermal cameras and there is no way of avoiding those.
This can also be deadly if in a hunting area, because you might get mistaken for game or spook someone off when you pop up from an unexpected location.
What would be valid reasons to do this?

If I were to do this for real, whatever the reason, I would most likely put myself up on a tree, spread a small net there with tarp over for rain, it would be impossible to see other than from below and people don't usually walk around staring at the canopy.
