Just play the games fellas. Also, don't commit the sin of pronouncing Atelier with an "R" like I did in the video. I blame the english dubs from the Atelier games for teaching me that pronunciation lol.
Ответитьif you want a really good atelier game
try atelier Iris 2 legend of the azonth. Wont be convinced that game is not the best in the series
All i want is Mana Khemia 3 and they keep trying to sell Ryza's thighs as a JRPG.
ОтветитьI'd say Atelier Ayesha is the pinnacle of the series, in terms of music, gameplay and characters. The Arland trilogy is great, a few dull moments but overall excellent. Ayesha just perfected it and refined it to its best state.
ОтветитьIts only 58$ on switch for dusk and it would be my first ever atelier is it good for beginners
ОтветитьHonestly, i kinda wish Gust make an Edgy Atelier spin-off game
ОтветитьI love how Atelier Ryza, from what I heard, isn't some grand plot with giga stakes and saving the world. It's like the anti-FF16.
ОтветитьThis was helpful
ОтветитьMy question is why are they making so many so fast that they are all 60 someone like me who never played and scrolls the psn store rpg section and I see like 6 different that are 60 bucks and it throws me off like why are they making so many so fast that there's atleast 5 or 6 priced at 60 still makes me feel like the games are rushed or low quality idk
ОтветитьI loved the Atelier Iris and Mana Kheima games . The modern Atelier games have a very different feel. I can see the roots from the PS2 days, but to me, it felt like a stray from what is was.
ОтветитьSlice of life is THE worst and most boring genre in anime.
Slice of life in gaming is no different.
I did enjoy Ryza 1 somewhat, but its definitely a game for casuals
Thick plot indeed
ОтветитьI like the concept but the execution is kinda meh
ОтветитьI started Atelier Ryza 1 yesterday and I'm loving it!!! Thank you for the recommendation 😊
ОтветитьAnd people say call of duty has a lot of titles god dayum
ОтветитьHey, Atelier Marie Remake just dropped and I wanted to know if that game is a good choice as 1rst game. I've watched reviews and apparently the combat can be auto and is simple, the material gathering can also be auto, and the only difficulty is time management. Any opinions on this game?
ОтветитьThe Iris trilogy was my starting point in the series and I just love how the series progressed with time.
And yeah, I would agree with Escha and Logy being a good starting point. Deadline is so lenient there (just finish the main assignment and the rest of the allotted period is gucci), combat is kinda beginner friendly, and the story is good. No wonder it’s one of the better received games among the franchise, even now.
At-a-lear? Uh-tell-e-ay
ОтветитьI wanted to give this series a try, but Gust has such an anti-fan service reputation that I don't want to give them my money. Not saying Atelier series itself needs fan service as that is not the focus. But it is Gust's action towards getting rid of all fan service in their other games that puts me off. As well as trying to get other companies who they cooperate with to reduce fan service to 0.
The idea of opening an alchemy shop as well as the beautiful character designs really get me to want to give this series a try(even if it has 0 fan service in it), but the company itself makes me not want to give them my money.
no wonder when I play atelier from ps3 and vita era. it was like hell on earth. this game is not about fighting using skill and level anymore but item and equipment. Even Secret trilogy still heavily rely on Item mechanic in battle. The only modern game that I don't rely on item is Ryza trilogy.
ОтветитьMy problem with the Atelier Series is.... it's all little girls. Where's the boys at? =_=
I don't say this lightly, but imo it's a game for girls. There is nothing for guys in the action(s) and dialogues...
It's... so boring... some call it cozy.... but if you expect saving-the-world-action, search elsewhere...
I finished ryza 1 and 2 this month just now starting 3 and I’m still thinking wether or not to play any of the older ones
ОтветитьIs it true that the Ryza series is not necessarily known for its gameplay? So I can't expect something like Octopath Combat, right?
ОтветитьI just beat Sophie and no joke, the beginning was lowk hard 😂
ОтветитьI love them just did firis. But couldn't get into it post game. Excited to play Lydia and suelle and finish the ryza trilogy!!!
ОтветитьI’m really glad I didn’t stop at Ryza and decided to go the older games, I love them. I decided to go back one trilogy at a time, so I went from Ryza to Sophie to Firis to Lydie Suelle to Ayesha, which I’m currently playing. The moment you said you were going to recommend three titles I KNEW SOphie would be one of them, it really is one of the most well rounded modern titles.
ОтветитьI started with Totori, great game series.
Ps. This game series has going since the 90’s and also sparked a spin-off game in 2006 called
Ar Tonelico (which has a killer soundtrack).
looks boring
Ответитьwhatchu say? a process called syphilis??
ОтветитьAtelier best rpg all of the time ! 😁😁😁👍👍👍
Ответитьthe series doesn't have a big following in the "the west" as everyone is still calling Japan's easterly neighbors, the US, because they are still not as obsessed with "horny" games as the Japanese. they absolutely love games that revolve mostly around eye candy. US citizens do too, but are still a little more gameplay oriented.
ОтветитьYou sound like you cant be bothered
Ответить"artelier"
Nope
"Altelier"
NO
"Atlear"
STOP
So which one should I play first?
ОтветитьI just finished ryza 1 and 2 and was looking for another in the series to try when I found this video. Sophie looks good to me but I read that Sophie does have time limits. I’m assuming then it’s just Sophie 2 that doesn’t? Sad to hear that only ryza has real time (mixed?) combat bc I actually really enjoyed it and found it very fun. But looking forward to trying them all out sometime
ОтветитьStarted sophie today
Ответитьthe iris series was good though! my gf really hit it off running with those games
ОтветитьThe only thing that comes to mind when I see these games is that line from the old "sonic says" cartoon segments "No Good"
ОтветитьAt first I thought Ryza’s combat system was a rhythm type of thing
ОтветитьI wonder how it feels for developers that audience doesn't care about all huge work they have done in this game, and recognizes only boobs and thighs of main character. People are so perverted and miserable these days
ОтветитьHi, I’m Japanese and have loved this series since Rorona. I know Atelier isn’t famous in foreign countries, so have felt sad.
I appreciate your effort to make this splendid guidance and love for Atelier. GUST developers will definitely be glad :)
We still have awesome RPG series not famous outside Japan. If you have time and had played, please introduce Ys, SaGa, Legend Heroes. Those are truly amazing.
Hope you all have good game experiences :)
This game really was fun and the game concept
Is different from what you normally see. I started off with the Atelier Twins game. It glitched and saved at a bad part, so I couldn’t complete the game unless I restarted. So I stopped for a while. Now I’m going to jump to Lyza 😂 because I’ve been hearing positive things. If it goes well I’ll go backwards and check out the rest
This is really well put together, thanks for this awesome breakdown on all these games!
ОтветитьFirst one I have seen was Ryza. I got it. Playing it. I love it.
I am kinda excited for the 3rd game.
I got 2nd installment to play after I finish the first one
I miss the first iris openings
ОтветитьWhich modern Atelier Series should you play?
The one with the Waifus.
if i do end up playing this series it might be thanks to this video!
