Sucker born everyday
ОтветитьWhy would that truck not be suitable for pulling dry vans?
ОтветитьI've actually seen that truck here in Memphis Tennessee it was probably around late 2016 into early 2017 they had stopped off at a grocery store here.
ОтветитьTruck drivers are truck drivers ... not business people , truck drivers.
Can anyone learn anything from that statement ?
For some reason I love this video, your attitude is so calm even with all the problems the truck came with.
ОтветитьWho cares about Kenworth get a life
ОтветитьIM 100% with you brother. I dont like the full fenders. I like the look of the raw tire, Plus makes it so much easier to inspect your tires. Not to mention ease when pulling certain trailers. I love the truck!
ОтветитьThey probably painted the steps black because they put those stainless tank covers on there. Well polished aluminum and stainless both give off a different TONE of metal. So they probably did that because they didnt match after the tank covers,
ОтветитьSure its a negative thing that you had to do all that with the motor and all, But many negatives lead to positives, And the positive is .. Now you KNOW you did it all from scratch.. So shes got a clean bill of health you are 100% sure about. So thats the positive.
ОтветитьI have a 1997 w900l I keep it up in shape and today I still drive it it drive like a charm
ОтветитьSounds like some of it is on you
For not checking lights and seatbelts for instance
Beautiful truck!
ОтветитьNo shit
ОтветитьThat's one ugly truck. Have some cheese with your wine crybaby.
ОтветитьI run a lot on Hwy 50 and 33 and I use to see that truck sitting at a truck tire shop on 33 right before 50 . I think that’s who painted the truck. Always wondered what happened to it . Sorry that happened to you man , happens a lot these days. Can trust a man’s word no more.
ОтветитьAmerican Force wheels are the best looking wheels out here by far they'll look way better than the crappy black wheels he had PS im the guy that absolutely hates black wheels on anything they look cheap
ОтветитьI mean , you went to buy a real truck a Kenworth w900 wearing a second best peterbilt hat. You were just asking for trouble..pete guys always do that around real trucks. They forget to check lights.
Star struck.
A 19 yr old truck will run like a new truck if kept up. We have a fleet that ranges from 1994 - 2006, all which run regional / long haul. I expect nothing less than like new condition. You take care the truck, the truck will take care of you. Don't cut corners when it comes to maintenance. It will cost you later
ОтветитьYa no paper work = - $50,000 for an out of frame
ОтветитьThank you for sharing an awesome story and through all your trials and tribulations you stayed a man about it stood your ground and still kept your ethi got nothing but respect for your buddy
ОтветитьIf I see him out there holler at him pretty cool truck
ОтветитьI would have taken the truck back and gotten my money back.
ОтветитьHow did you have the money to do all the repairs.
ОтветитьGood video. Seems like a nice enough person.
ОтветитьI bought a 98 t600 had 21k worth of problems in the 1st yr & a half!
It was a baptism by fire 🔥
Ohio truck sales haha let me guess
ОтветитьI bet you bought it from Road Dog in PA
ОтветитьI appreciate your honesty mentioning faults from both sides, but'cha know what, being a '99 W-9 owner myself, when you see what'cha want, especially when you want it THAT BAD and won't necessarily find one equipped almost or damn near close to your specifications, it's like buying a clean-looking dog with flees, hopin' it doesn't have a lot of' em, then find out it does, now you have to "groom" th' muthufucka cuz the previous owner just simply "washed 'em" a lot. Y'all get my point!? And now that you have him, you realize that you have to do A HELLUVA LOT of grooming (spend a lot of money) figuring it got groomed AT LEAST ONCE and never did, which you NOW know after buying it. Hey, we've all done it, at least once, but that's all a part of it, and should know that goin' in whenever you buy a truck, cuz when we do, all we're buying is somebody else's headache, no matter if we need Advil, Aleve, Tylenol or simply some sleep or a nap. We deal with it. Once you get everything right enough to operate it and be proud of what you've had to do to get it that way, you'll still hurt "a lil' or a lot" but still be satisfied "some," knowin' it was what you really wanted. The money's gone, can't get it back, and the only time you can or at least come close, is if you sell the muthufucka. Excellent video, I agree 💯% with you and hope it continues to give you the service you expect from it, and all the other owner operators out here that this has happened to before with y'all as well. Keep trucking gentlemen!!!
ОтветитьThumbnail on me is 1995 exhd Pete. Bought it new in 1995. One owner till the day I leave this world. Would run anywhere in this country that I can legally.
ОтветитьJust out of curiosity, how many Owner Operators are owed money for detention? JBHunt owes me big time. If I can find others like me who can prove detention, I was thinking of a possible Class Action Suit.
A lot of Brokers are refusing to pay detention. When I questioned JBHunt about what they owe me they had banned me from JBHunt loads.
I know I'm not alone. Tell me your detention stories
This is a B model W900 very rare W900
ОтветитьSome how this dude has a little confusion going on! You can't be wearing a Peterbilt ball cap and drive a K whopper. That's just wrong!
ОтветитьGreat interview
ОтветитьDude, who doesn't check all the lights ? Wipers , heater,ac
ОтветитьGreat story brother!!! SOOOO TRUE!!!!
ОтветитьHi 👋 rob, this video popped up on my iPad and your tractor is the size of my yellow straight truck lol do you still have this tractor 😊
ОтветитьI feel bad for you but lets be bluntly honest here, at the time you failed to do your due diligence, this experience has clearly enriched you.
ОтветитьDamn!! I’ve got a 1993 with a 3406B that has 70k on a complete rebuild. I am selling it for 65K. ALL PAPERWORK OF EVERYTHING DONE FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS! 8 new air bags, u-joints, carrier bearings, power steering box, thrust plate, BullyDog stage II Turbo, rebuild, Harmonic Balancer, alternator, Injection Pump w/AFRC and all attachments, radiator, etc. Too much to list. Runs like new with a straight 15 speed and 3:70 rears.
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьUnfortunately.. there are TONS of rolling deathtrap Half Arse O/O trucks like this on the road. I know one BAD KW locally that the guy brags about never doing maintenance like it's something he's proud of 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
ОтветитьIf there's anything I've learned in my career so far: don't EVER trust anyone to have done their job. It's a mostly independent job for a reason, and paying someone for their services is no guarantee they will even do what you asked them to do. I know this first hand - a dot inspection you pay for will often not catch what you sent it in for.
ОтветитьI had one it was a bitch in a tight spot !😡😡
ОтветитьThats a nice looking truck
ОтветитьIt all depends on the purchase price .
ОтветитьWere you looking at the truck with Rose coloured glasses?
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI drove with PHD Paul in Groveland
ОтветитьYour really stupid to ever work for lanstar
ОтветитьI love the truck
