The moment a fish hits is beautiful!
The trout there are beautiful too!
I was waiting for this video! I saw the shorts and wondered where the video was and couldn’t find it, but here it is!
ОтветитьWhat a great adventure. I have a spot sort of like that in Wisconsin on a very small stream that is always good for at least one nice brown. That was so exciting to see that brown come under that rock to take the streamer. I’ve found micro streamers to be very effective on small streams. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьI fish a lot of little rivers like that in western maryland, with native brook with a 7 ft fly rod, now living in charleston im doing the salt thing,
ОтветитьThose were some beautiful big wild brown trout. I’ve caught a couple of 11-12” browns like that in far western NC this year. Beautiful stream as well. 👍
ОтветитьI know the creek. I grew up just across creek from parking spot. how lucky was I ?
ОтветитьCan I ask, what length leaders are you using for these spooky wild NC mountain trout?
ОтветитьBeautiful Mercedes lol weird that it got covered at the end.
ОтветитьI enjoyed your video. I fish small mountain streams like that in NH. Nothing better in my opinion.
ОтветитьMan I’ve been binge watching your content. I got my first fly rod yesterday because of you. It’s going to take some serious practice since all I use right now are baitcasters but I’m excited to learn. Keep up the good content man!
ОтветитьI have fished this creek numerous times, being 60 years old and having lived in the area all my life. It’s one of the very few streams in WNC where you can catch browns and brook trout in the same stretch of water, often in the same hole. I enjoyed your video.
