Thank you. It worked. I hadn't been able to use it for about three months. Having it plugged in while in use and before turning it on, I had opened the chromebook to power it on, and before sign-in could happen, it said the battery was dead and the screen would go black, even though it was plugged in and previously charged at 100%. Following your instructions, it's now charging and everything about the log in page and the screen where I had left it is now as it had been months ago, working. Again, thank you.
