Remodeling a Camper Trailer on the budget

Going to give my 2002 Nomad to a gal that has had a very rough time of it.... in fostercare, adopted, abandoned by adoptive parents, foster care again, Juvi....and now in prison.... however she got her High School Diploma in Juvi, she finished her Associates last year,....and is now working on her BS. She's gonna be out next December I want to give her my trailer so she has a place of her own. I need all the imput I can get. She even offered to help pay for renovations.......

For the flexible wood trim you could use either a white or black t molding like they use on arcade cabinets instead of edge banding

QUESTION: I didn't see any prep for the pulls - the primer calls for wiping with mineral spirits and sanding. Did you do any of that off-canera?

Honestly, the cabinets were fine, the upholstery, and the floors needed to be replaced, and a little upgrade in the kitchen. Maybe an update in the bathroom, too!

So as a pro painter of 25 years. Screw all that masking use a brush/mohair roller and a good self leveling paint it looks the same as if you sprayed it

when remodeling a camper and you remove that paneling you can always add in doors or drawers!!!

Is it more costly to renovate a trailer vs a home? For example, the walls are a different material than drywall. If you wanted to paint/change the walls, would that be more or less costly than a home? Thanks!

You did a fabulous job at updating the inside. Some of the RV parks will not allow a 10+ year camper in the parks. Will you do an update on the outside? Paint or wrap?
