ОтветитьNever saw this post! Steely Dan at their best! The Coolest of the Cool! 👍🏻🍸❤️😎
ОтветитьI buy this dvd from a shop of music selling, for a long Years ago : so feel like Amazing good :
ОтветитьMy senses were more alert and paranoid... Who wants to be either?
ОтветитьWhen I'm not sure what I want to hear Steely Dan always is the safe choice. It's also what I play for anyone who wants to hear my stereo. It never fails .
ОтветитьLove it, has been adicted since 1974❤ Does somebody know if there is any thougts on presenting this amazing show in vinyl or cd? It surely deserves it, fantastic music, fantastic performance
ОтветитьSteely Dan was ,is now and always will be one of the best bands ever. R I P Walter Becker
ОтветитьWow, fantastic music, I did not know his name till now, but I loved this music all the time. This is my music. Great! Big Music!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe true genius of this band is how they sing about the darkness inside all of us whilst sounding upbeat about it. Mount Rushmore of songwriters in my opinion.
ОтветитьSuperb... A game we call gaslighting Fagen
ОтветитьOne tune u recognize one u dont but there all good thats the kind of perfection of a band they are were Always loked yhem when I was maonly onto heavy rock then when jazz started gettin my sound buds on swing land Steely was right there vause they always were there here n everywhere yeah baby😅
ОтветитьDonald Fagans a vampire with fangs the shades keep it night time oh yeah yheres something strange goon on the here say what😮
Ответитьproper high quality artists, not many like these two anymore.
ОтветитьWalter Becker was a truly gifted lyricist, composer and guitar player.
I never understood until today he / not Donald Fagan / is the true genius of this band.
Like good Bourbon, Steely Dan is a acquired taste. But once it clicks, it tastes sooooo good.
ОтветитьIn the spirit of John Lennon's "Imagine," imagine if there was just great music and no bad religion, like in the middle east.
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Donald Fagan!! ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ответить❤
ОтветитьEncourage young listeners to hear real artists. They never disappoint. No matter your age you are still hearing this. Better than all the rest nobody made music like this ever.
ОтветитьI have no idea how these guitarists remember all these parts! Lord what a memory it must take to be able to play like this!
ОтветитьGood band, great writing.
ОтветитьXILNT !
ОтветитьEnjoy hearing you play no matter what it is! Someone mentioned the Schnaufer dulcimer…..I would also love to hear some noodling played on that one, too! Happy New Year to you and your family!
ОтветитьGot an autographed cd of this!
ОтветитьMost exquisite band on Earth. 😊
ОтветитьACE -start to finish.
ОтветитьWalter kicked ass on Black Friday. RIP. Donald is doing his Vampire impression.
ОтветитьFar and away one of the very best groups to ever grace the planet!
Ответитьis that Corneilius Bumpus on sax?
ОтветитьStonking ❤
ОтветитьMY MAN STEELY DAN - YO BRO WUS UP
Ответить@ I Meant Steely Dan at a gas station he was in a van he ask me do you know Steely Dan i told him know
He side you don't know who Steely Dan is? and then it hit me who he was and i was like wow i love this band
Great musicianship on a horrible song..
ОтветитьOh yeah!
ОтветитьGreat music, great musicianship..... but Walter Becker spoiled it here and elsewhere (see Time Out of Mind live.....LOL) with these spurious, annoying, constant guitar fills throughout Josie to the degree that when the lead break and solo appears, the poor guy has to keep plucking away at the same dreary, static guitar-tone laden, no emotion, no mojo kind of empty guitar fills, this wasting the talent of Jon Herrington and the opportunity to create a little space between the solo and the body of the song. Beck's nauseating guitar riffs were monotonous and uninspiring, and failed to lift the music during the live performance. A little of Walter's guitar went an awful long way.....emphasis on awful. Give Larry Carlton a couple of single malt Scotch cocktails, and he will tell you the same thing. Carlton hammered the solo from Josie when performing it, but Walter.....let's say he squashed it. Still, love the Dan and always will, but they were led by two of the most selfish, arrogant, self-important bastards in the business at the time.
Ответить.which painting by Dali, Michelangelo, etc,. etc..Steely Dan falls into perfection!..
Ответитьgood sound in this version!

ОтветитьAmen!
Ответитьlisten to 1 song adi listened to all... all same style
Ответитьthe first time i saw them on TV way back in the day, i could not believe that i was seeing 8 guys on stage. their most defining sound is the keyboards, besides Fagen's voice, of course.
horns ain't too shabby, either
I've seen this concert several times and its equal good every time. A knock-out-gig from very very talented musicians. Mixed to almost album quality. Since I play little guitar myself, well used to anyway, of course I get impressed by Herington's guitar skills. I guess, he's not the kind of guy you like to compete with in an audition situation ...
ОтветитьPocos grupos lo hacen tan bien en directo.
ОтветитьMy favorite bad sneaker❤
ОтветитьRecognisible or not the music is great Bands with brass like Chicago Blood Sweat Tears n Earth Wind Fire can range out with a selection that captivates 😊
ОтветитьThe only time I saw them was about 20 years ago. They had new arrangements, just like on this one, but still no room for improvisation. They always aimed for perfection. Wally could have cut some slack but he always was so tight. maybe if he'd lived longer... RIP Walter.. The Boddhisatva.
ОтветитьSo cool to see Wally playing solo bits
ОтветитьFavorite band of all time, I've had the pleasure of seeing them live 2 times, the sound of the dan live is absolutely amazing, they sounded like a studio recording, every note and riff that Donald went off on just sounded so good, the musical geniuses that fagen and Becker were and are, would love to see fagen perform live one last time
