Hollow Knight - Speedrunner vs. 4 Hunters

I laughed when they asked for a "lifeline" like you have 3 teammates, there's your lifeline lol but sick maneuvers fire

Such a fun idea, I love watching these. It does seem like "everyone immediately get to and stay at Uumuu" is kind of a hunter auto-win state though, regardless of when the runner actually gets there. It's a room he eventually must pass through, cannot leave, and will literally never be in a position to clear faster than they can collectively melt him; given the time constraint and nature of the particular boss fight.

While it's admirable that the chosen hunters are looking to have fun rather than go straight to Uumuu, one way to encourage a bit of extra strategy might be to make them have to go out and collect movement abilities as well, and giving said abilities like a ~5 min collection cooldown to really force them to split up at first and think through exactly where to snag the runner. Balanced perhaps by an immunity to non-player enemy damage, and/or increased movement speed?

3 things i learnt from this, you can skip over to Edge, Cranky was probs the best hunter this playthrough. And I am incredibly inept for how long it took me to get through wizard boss. Good job.

this is the firts hollow knight speed run video that i see and i’m surprised.

The fact that several hunters can enter boss arenas fire is in is so unfair
The fact that fire fought against this ruthlessly unfair challenge and got as far as he did proves how skilled he is. Having to fight bosses like uumuu and watcher knights which you constantly have to switch entirely from damage and dodging and having to divide so much focus into attacking the boss, dodging the boss and dodging the hunters is cruelly unfair and I’m glad the ruleset was changed in future videos

How multiplayer

kinda disappointed that the language was set to chinese or japanese or whatever, as a channel thats target audience is english speaking ppl this didnt make much sense. I've never played this game before so I didnt know the names of things and couldnt figure it out. Made this video much less enjoyable than it could have been
