Is the suicide mission hard? I did it once, everyone lived, and I moved on with my life.
ОтветитьHow can you not point out that the Batman code was 0539? Batman’s birthday!
ОтветитьSo far theres only one puzzle in RE games ive played that ive had to look up. I love the god of war puzzles, they are deffinetly works of art
Ответитьi believe getting the fire arrow in the legend of zelda ocarina of time should be in the list and high level
Ответитьflattery always works
ОтветитьWitness is one of the best puzzle games ever made. It constantly reinvents the simple premise.
ОтветитьGenius Kojumbo strikes again!!!
ОтветитьThe Z-Machine game Hitchhikers' Guide to The Galaxy used a similar method as MGS for *copy protection*: at one point, the player has to enter a word from the game manual - given by page and line - which you wouldn't have, unless you had an actual physical purchase of the game.
ОтветитьI am definitely going to check out Baba is You now, thanks!
ОтветитьThe problem with the TotK twist is that Link has to, inexplicably, pretend that he doesn't know where Zelda is and what happened to her for every interaction for the rest of the game. It didn't feel very genius. The opposite in fact, it kind of felt like gaslighting.
ОтветитьFeel like alot of these would be like twists in movies..my brain is either blown wide open in amazement or I want to throw the game out the window for how stupidly nonsensical my brain thinks the puzzle is....1000IQ moments can seem like -50IQ moments if comes off wrong
ОтветитьLook at CD case was a way to fight piracy
ОтветитьI am very smart.
ОтветитьYou talking about it again makes me want to go back and give finishing The Witness another try.
ОтветитьFor #4, I remember the blockbuster logo on the front for the “blank” you would grab and bring to the front to check out the actual game. would def say “blockbuster” on the spine too
ОтветитьI can’t believe you missed Psycho Mantis puzzle in MGS1
ОтветитьYou sound exactly like Louis C.K. It's scrambled my mind.
ОтветитьThe funny thing about the Metal Gear Solid CD case puzzle, I never played the game, and at the time had no idea what it was. I was at a friends house and he was stuck on that part and after a bit I for some reason wanted to look at the CD case and just saw that on the back. Basically the only thing about this game that I ever played.
ОтветитьYou haven't seen my high school GPA, apparently. Leave the fact that I am learning C++ for shits and giggles just so I can make games for my friends and let's face the fact of my 1.4 graduating GPA.
ОтветитьDid you really think flattery would make me engage?
ОтветитьCrazy how you mentioned Witness and not BRAID. Also, Portal, Limbo, Liminal.
ОтветитьFor me
The Wild Arms franchise had some of the most frustrating puzzles in my life
I managed a perfect run first time ME2. And then failed miserably the next 3 times…
ОтветитьBefore I got to the fools idol, I killed that guy because I was suspicious, which I’m sure fromsoftware intended to hint through his sketchy dialogue. Killed fools idol on my second try after.
ОтветитьYeah, i had to do a lot of prep work just to get the Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom. I even saved the Deku Tree from the Gloom Spawn without realizing how it relates to the Master Sword quest, I just wanted to get all the shrines done with in the Woodland area of Hyrule. Either way I was glad to find out where it and thanks to the fact that I was able to get all the shrines beforehand I was able to get to the LIght Dragon with no trouble since I maxed out my Stamina in the game. I also found out how the Light Dragon came to be after finding all the Dragon's Tears beforehand all around Hyrule after Lady Impa told me about them, so in a way it's all about preparation and early planning that helped me get the Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom.
ОтветитьHaha, I rented MGS1 from Blockbuster! So annoying, but also brilliant.
ОтветитьIt was the flattering that made me put a comment. Well played.
ОтветитьWhat about the Sudoku puzzle in Genshin Impact? xd
ОтветитьThe only two games I saved from the PS1 era... MGS1 and FFVII. Couldn´t bring myself to sell these two.
ОтветитьI love how every entry is a specific moment and the last one is just "the whole game". And I wholeheartedly agree.
ОтветитьThe whole half life franchise makes me feel like megamind😂
ОтветитьThe Mass Effect 2 "puzzle" was a puzzle when you tried to get the achievement for everyone dying. Otherwise, I think many people didn't even know you could have people die on that mission.
ОтветитьDishonored 2 door puzzle
ОтветитьPokemon regi maps?
ОтветитьJoke's on you, birb: I'm too smart to leave a comment here.
ОтветитьX-Men (1993) Sega Genesis “Reset the computer”… was mind blowing at the time and, honestly, still would maybe be that.
ОтветитьAlso, so glad to hear Falcon swear during the Witness reveal 👌🏽
ОтветитьThe CD Case
For Kuzco 🤣🤣🤣
No uncharted??
Ответитьi feel like resident evil 3 water sample puzzle should be there. i had a lot of trouble with it back then ^^
ОтветитьResident evil, dino crisis and silent hill had also a fair share of brain breakers
ОтветитьI was an original Kickstarter backer for this game, I've been waiting literal years, it looks great, I do agree a quest log would be nice. Also kind of annoying that I get a copy as a backer but it's free on gamepass and PlayStation catalog, which kind of makes my backing feel trivial but I'm happy the game got made! Great review, turn based it's not as fun for me as it used to be so I'm really glad they added the interactive features for attacking and defending. Too many games coming out this fall, this will have to wait for some downtime
ОтветитьFun addition to the MGS1 moment. When they re-released MGS1, 2, and 3 in a collection box set for the Ps2 they included one screenshot from each game on the box sleeve. The MGS1 screenshot was that Codec call just so you could still have the fun of finding it out the intended way.
Ответитьflattery worked
ОтветитьThanks for the spoiler warning on TOTK I'm still pretty early in.
ОтветитьThat Talos Principle Puzzle hits different in VR, if you havent played this in VR, its a must try
ОтветитьSo, basically the whole personality of Sheldon Cooper was Ripped of this one charackter from Mass Effect 2 :)
Ответить
