thank you for the video
ОтветитьVery interesting vid. That Mustang looks magnificent.
ОтветитьLoads of work in that place
ОтветитьGreat video mate
Ответитьwow what a car pretty awesome vid
ОтветитьAnother interesting film and again slightly different and I'm not getting on at you but would it be possible to do a follow up video of that engine singing into life and a road test because I bet it sounds good.
ОтветитьYou do know that is the first Eleanor the first one was In the 70s movie gone in 60s haha it is funny how everyone has made this the one
ОтветитьPhwwwoooorrrrrrrr!!!! I do love a Mustang.. (I might have mentioned it a few times..!?!) I did look up a modern Bullit Mustang on a certain car sales site as a potential purchase when I got an inheritance about 18 months ago, but I decided against it as don't have a garage big enough for one and my current garage has an Abarth 124 inside it, lol!!
ОтветитьThe question is if you had the choice Bullitt mustang or Eleanor Mustang (original Mach 1 or remake GT500) For me it would have the be Bullitt, as it was more or less a standard car not modified with a bodykit and Steve is (was) the epitome of cool 😎.
Cool video Pete and I think it would have been nicer if Damon could have also showed us various things and spoke about the build. But I think we understand him not wanting to.
Hello Sir, one of my faves this car. ❤❤👍🇬🇧
ОтветитьI'm sure the model would be fascinating to build but price/kilo, the full size Eleanor from South Coast is the cheaper option.
ОтветитьDamon, fair play to your craftsmanship 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛🇬🇧
ОтветитьBack when the World was in Black and White, I had a Orange Mustang Custom Matchbox Car called "Wild Cat" I fell in love with it and have been a Mustang fan ever since..... So when my numbers come up next week expect a phone call..... :-))
ОтветитьIv loved Eleanor for 20 years and I would love to have her one day
ОтветитьI would rather have the Mustang from the first John Wick film, for me it looks far more cooler than Eleanor. Unfortunately the John Wick Mustang had a very sorry end in the film, also I never liked the CGI jump with Eleanor at the end of the film, the effect looked rubbish, much just prefer real car jumps, like they did in the Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider TV series and the Burt Reynolds film "Hooper" with a Rocket powered Pontiac Trans Am, jumping a Ravine, great comedy action film.
PP, who makes, and where do the New Mustang body panels come from, just out of interest?
A 1967 Shelby gt500.
ОтветитьPlease let us hear that when it fires up.
ОтветитьAn interesting and different film Peter. It is a shame that the builder did not put in at least a brief appearance though…maybe next time. Dare I say that I have never heard of “Eleanor” but have pondered a Bullet Mustang as I rather like them for their simplicity and because they very slightly bring me back to my Ford Capri in 1973…so I would have to buy L900 KHU to go on it!! Stay safe…Richard😀😀😀😀
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this. Love the Mustang
ОтветитьGreat to see these! I'm going to watch Bullitt now! I'm kind of ashamed I haven't seen it yet.
ОтветитьWhat a car
ОтветитьSir Pete this was a epic video!! So cool. Gone in 60 seconds is one of my favorite movies!! Thanks for sharing this with us!! Your content just keeps getting better
ОтветитьVery cool car but to be fair, you can't beat the 68 fastback in green from bullitt.
ОтветитьWatch out for the creeps that supposedly own the Eleanor name, they'll come for ya.
ОтветитьExcellent video Peter. Really enjoyed this, something very different, interesting and informative. What a setup, great to see the perfection and work that’s being done. Really hope you can get back and get a drive in one of these magnificent cars 😉👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьHi Ped
PURFECTION indeed.😮 I cannot see an EV that is going to stir the emotion like this. Would be a great follow up video with a road test.🤞
I love these up close engineering videos, brilliant. Yet another old school engineer who doesn't for second best. Thanks.
Ответитьyou should never mention Eleanor as its trademarked and the owner of the trademark has taken cars away from car builders that say they are eleanor replica's
ОтветитьAnd how many £’s will you have to spend to complete the model???? No doubt a shocking amount.
ОтветитьThe Bullitt car chase was ok if one overlooks the rather "iffy" continuity issues. There is a certain VW Beetle featured which appears in more or less the same position about 8 times! Did you know that the director Peter Yates had been suggested for Bullitt by Steve McQueen after seeing the car chase in "Robbery" directed by Yates in 1967 featuring Mk11 & S Type Jags.Check it out.
I think that "Gone in 60 Seconds" features the unlikely pairing of Angelina Jolie & Vinnie Jones!(a good quiz question)In terms of almost continuous car action I have to go with "Vanishing Point" with Barry Newman every bit as "cool" as McQueen.
It’s a movie classic and super 😎!!! Thx for the vid Pete 👍🏻🇨🇦
ОтветитьHow much would one of these vehicle be ?
ОтветитьLast I heard, you can’t- at least not call them Elenor’s as it’s trade marked by the movie studio
ОтветитьHow do you stand legally as Marvel own the rights who confiscated B is for build's
ОтветитьCool to see! I Miss Eleanor! 😢
ОтветитьGet it to Moggy to be Moggy-fied
ОтветитьI want one
ОтветитьIt’s a pity these body kit manufacturers changed the design of the leading edge of the hood to a straight line.
ОтветитьAnd by that I mean the body kit for the real car, not the 1/8 model kit.
ОтветитьNot sure if I've read this wrong, but by my calculations the model car totals nearly £1600. It's a gorgeous car, but not sure a model is worth this much
ОтветитьThe 2nd film is so bollox. You could nt get anything so far removed from the original story...the original is a classic. The 2nd is a coperate mess..with the legal cases used by the film company making the whole concept utterly ludricros. We had a BOSS 302 in our family in the 1970s. A real car..not a Hollywood make up disaster of plastic and surgery.
ОтветитьJust don't call it an Eleanor or they will be sued. I think it was B for Build who got done by the owner of the name & likeness of the Eleanor.
ОтветитьHaha, bet the Hillickys are pissed off.
ОтветитьToo much unessesary babbling.
ОтветитьIm gonna use this video to build my eleanor
ОтветитьThat’s not Eleanor, the stripes aren’t even correct.
Ответить
