The book is really funny. Darren Nesbitt who played the nasty SS officer is a sweetie and a great raconteur has some tales to tell.
ОтветитьThis fugue rewired my brain. Made me appreciate music all the more
Ответитьthis was my first experience of just how powerful music can be
ОтветитьGreat movie with my dad
ОтветитьBased on on an actual mission. Back in the days when men were men.
ОтветитьBroad sword calling Danny boy
ОтветитьGreat film. Terrific score. Derren Nesbitt stole the show as the Gestapo officer, Major Von Hapen.
ОтветитьOne of the best movie themes of all time...Neil McCarthy, in this film and also in ZULU came into a shop i worked in looking at the HI- FI we were selling... couldn't get any words out ..just totally star struck ..this must have been not that long before he died..He looked very dapper in his three piece suit !!!
ОтветитьBroadsword calling Danny Boy, Broadsword calling Danny Boy
ОтветитьThe greatest war movie ever made.
It's got everything.
Awesome.
The Clone Wars
🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Bad Batch
This is the best war movie from the 60ies..And this soundtrack is juste mind-blowing
Ответить❤❤❤
Ответить😇
Ответить32 to 45 seconds in, tightens my chest and affects my breathing.....fantastic music...incredible sound.....
ОтветитьThe best movie I saw in my life
ОтветитьWhere are you Ron Goodwin?, I heard your music in the 60' music for Arabian night and Holiday in Beirut that carried to the realm of the East...unforgettable!
ОтветитьYou better believe it!
Ответитьlove the theme....one of my favourite movies!
ОтветитьRef. Previous comment: Yes it certainly is. On a par with 2001 A Space Odyssey.
ОтветитьSó para ouvir este guitarrista vale a pena ouvir!
ОтветитьAgree about the two best thing being the score and the scenery. Thought the film was fine too until the 'twist', which was too contrived to my liking. Ruined what could have been a perfectly good movie, IMHO.
ОтветитьBroadsword calling Danny boy ...
ОтветитьOne of the All time best action packed War movies ever made. It had action although the movie. I loved Eastwood and Burton Together. I have the DVD and watch it 2 to 3 times a year.If not more!
Ответить
Ora vi mando filmato romano Conte in autobus.
ОтветитьThe greatest opening music to a movie ...ever
ОтветитьSomewhere in the middle of 1970s I had watched this movie as a teenager and after that watched it dozens of times.
The the musical theme is one of the best themes ever. 💥💣👍🏼👊
This is so well done that it defies belief. How so right the music is to the background, brilliant. You feel as though you are there.
ОтветитьI recently watched this one and I still think that this is the best war movie ever!
ОтветитьWonderful movie ! I think this is one of the great all-time favourite war time movies of years to come. I just love this film. It has all the intrigues, undercover manouvres needed to make a great war-time espionage film with world war 2 as the backdrop. Undoubtedly, this is one of my favourite films. I just love it.❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI can remember first watching this with my brother in law when was dating my sister it came on tele one Christmas on my mum and dad's old granada TV one with buttons that looked like liquorice sticks lol
ОтветитьReal shame this aircraft JU52 was distroyed in a crash. Pity.
ОтветитьFrom the sound of that JU 52 roaring overhead, and the growling of her tri-motors, to the music, you just know that you are in for a treat! One of the BEST opening sequences for a movie!😄
ОтветитьOne of the best movie intros!
ОтветитьI'll say it, watch the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King when they light the beacons.....that theme was very much inspired by this theme.
ОтветитьOne of the best widescreen films made and if my favourite Richard Burton’s diction which tops the cake, and…then went for spaghetti westerns when everyone said they were nit worth watching.
Mr Burton himself with his lovely wife Elizabeth Taylor!
Still my favorite movie of all time. I used to watch this everyday befor school
ОтветитьI was 15 year's old when this Movie Legend came out in Theaters.
If I remember correctly ticket price was $2.00
The Theater had Surround sound and the opening theme was sound boggling...
And up the Irons !
Ответитьso hot the chutes id jumded
ОтветитьZita's
Ответитьwhen I listen to the theme, I think of the 20 year old women standing in the door to be dropped into occuppied Europe. Totally baddasss
ОтветитьBroadsword calling Danny Boy
Ответить....you better think about it baby
ОтветитьBest opening ever
ОтветитьI like this movie a lot.
The cinematographie, the actors, and the MP40 with the one-million-round clips.
No need to reload😂
Awesome film, I have lost count of the number of times I have watched this. Have also played the theme music brilliant use of fugue which bounces around the orchestra.
ОтветитьBellissima, seducente, coinvolgente.
ОтветитьSit down Colonel.
