I was that person. I couldn't justify $11 for a 30 minute game. The DLC made me think there would continue to be additional content.

Soon as this goes on sale I'm all over it.
Wait, reggie Watts was in the steam version but not on PS4?! Fuckers! Love reggie Watts.

How about this as a genre... Listening Simulator! The real core of the game/experience is listening to stretches of dialogue (or more accurately comedy speeches/improv), and there is an attempt to give you something to do while you listen to it. Whether you enjoy the game or not depends on how entertaining you find the audio. Another game like this that immediately springs to mind is The American Dream.
Also the immediate problem that springs to mind with these two games is that you often run out of things to do, and are stuck simply sitting/standing there listening. I do happen to find Accounting funny so it's not too bad, but with The American Dream, well...

I just got around to playing this game a couple of days ago. Like Job Simulator, the name put me off, but it couldn't be more far removed from what the title suggests. It was fun and surreal. The humour reminded me, somewhat, of The Mighty Boosh, or Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy, if you've ever watched these TV comedy shows. I'm intrigued and hope there really is a secret zoo level. In fact I hope they just add more levels. I love this game...though I'd hate to be trapped inside it during a whitey.

I loved this game/experience and definitely a 1 for me too, I enjoyed the comedy, the price was right and so was the length of the game, I’m not a huge fan of Rick and morty but was disappointed watching Dez’s live stream and review as was hoping it would be better, but hey sales happen and I’ll pick it up then, oh n super amazeballs still not out in EU so still waiting to pick that up

Great video as always but I gotta ask didn't this guys shrill voice get to you at all while playing? The Morty voice in particular is like nails on a chalk board to me.

Something just crystalized for me. As a "game" this is too much for too little. But on the other hand, I've happily payed more for comedy and stand-up albums. It's not the next Skyrim, but it's not trying to be. Crows Crows Crows and Justin Roiland gave us a great comedy experience disguised as a game. It's still not a "1", because his humor isn't for everyone, but I definitely think that this kind of experiment should be rewarded.

I really enjoyed playing this one - it’s a bit crazy and there were some genuine LOL moments! Just a shame that it’s such a short game (even picking it up on sale)... Good fun while it lasted though! 😆

Games on sale currently for like 6 quid and have been eying it up so I think I shall make the purchase, good show this week lads

It'll take you about 4 hours :p

There's no doubt that the fanboy section is a dig at some of Roilands most 'hardcore' fans (and the A+ came out shortly after there was a whole internet-wide thing about riffing on fans of Rick'n'Morty pretending they're smart for being fans and parroting all the memes and digs at these people includes direct quotes of things they have said)... but I see the waterpark level as more of a celebration of the kind of success even a lacklustre ARG can have. Just make a few references here and there, add in some unknown interactions (ie throwing things into the distance in Tree Guys world can sometime result in an elephant sound effect) - this is stuff William Pugh has talked about extensively in the past. And I see the waterpark level as being really just a chance for people to really drink in and appreciate a lot of the theory crafting that went into to deciphering it.

I enjoyed both this and Rick and Morty VR. Have and would easily spend more time just searching out all the extra dialogue and searching for the mystery zoo level. That said didn't get the thrill I did with this that going through a portal gave me during Rick and Morty VR.

accounting + is one of my favorite psvr games to demo.

i had such big expectation for Rick and Mortimer, yet was so let down by it... Now i want to get this one cause it seems to be effectively actually funny even if it seems to be one of those Anti-game.

The Fanboy sounds brilliant because the fanbase of the show effectively killed Rick and Morty.

By the way, he probably does hate his fanbase.

So late to the video. So late to psvr in general. Kinda cool being able to see a review for EVERY game I've had an interest in so far though. Thanks a bunch guys. You have become a staple of my morning coffee drinking routine.

And Justin roiland is 100% the backbone of all the humor paired with him and Dan Harmon. Harmon is kinda his grounding component. Lol.

So I'm looking at these reviews because im considering buying this.. this isn't helping lol
