OPR sat down with Prof. Ruth Chang, Chair of Jurisprudence at University of Oxford, to talk about the 'parity' theory, the Trolley problem and the notions of 'justice' and 'normativity' in a 'godless' world.

Prof. Chang is widely known for her research on normative ethics and metaethics, including the incommensurability of values and practical reason. A leading scholar on the process of decision-making, she has consulted institutions ranging from World Bank and CIA to video-game developers to pharmaceuticals companies. She was recently elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
