Angry Man Stuck in Snow

The guy just shortened the lifespan of his transmission.

The guy probably bought fancy awd car because he doesnt know how to drive in snow and expected that to solve everything. 2wd car with winter tires beats awd car with bad tires 100-0 in ice and snow

Im sorry, but every scandi knows that trying to speed away will only leave you spinning and digging yourself down into the snow even more xD

4 wheel drive no good with bald tires. and no i would not of went and helped him. now if he nicely came and asked me then i would have.

I would not have helped him raging and fuming like that? Nope. You don’t know what a guy is going to do if he’s that mad.

I can understand how this guy feels because it is frustrating when your car, van, or truck gets stuck in the snow. I had trouble driving my car to the driveway because of the ice and snow on the road part of my driveway in the winter season many years ago. Me and other students help each other get our vehicles out of the snow many years ago. I am not driving when there is snow and ice on the roads forever. I am only drive when the roads are safe to drive on any day.

That's why car rope (for pulling car out) and small shovels are absolute necessities during snowy winters. If a driver lacks skills, there would be at least a possibility to clear the snow and/or to ask someone to pull the car off the ice.

I have been that guy before I'm ashamed to say.

Good way to ruin a transmission

slamming on the gas isnt helping... reverse slow and turn the wheel slow. go back and forth if you have too... slow and steady... no need to slam on the gas just making your self slide with the weight of the car.

What would be the best way to get out of this situation? Asking for a friend who is a terrible driver ;)

That was so cute listening to your kids cheering the guy for making it out! When this situation happened to me out in the country side I was fortunate to have 4 people stop and the one guy had a truck and offered to wince me out for free. Nobody here stopped to help push the man out. I probably would have sworn at the guy for the excuse me pass by too, lol. Could have been avoided with an AAA or CAA membership.
