Great review, I also had both of these gloves. I ended up selling the winning and investing in more Reyes gear. I don't know what it was, but after a few weeks of the Wining gloves my hands hurt every time I used them. In between the the thumb and index finger on the right, over the left knuckles on the left. I thought I was wrapping wrong or something, then switch on and off different days, for weeks and it kept happening. I am almost tempted to purchase another pair and try them again, maybe mine were just constructed poorly. I have 3 pairs of Reyes now, 12, 14 and 16, even the twelves being smaller and tighter, no issues.
ОтветитьIn my experience the Cletos are great gloves for real hitters. Well, in the end they were made by and for the hands of the best Mexican boxers.
The fact that they cost less than the winning ones even if they are almost on par in terms of quality is easy to understand.
Not only are they made in Japan, but Japanese labor is a thousand times more limited and well, I don't think they have the same access to leather as Mexicans or people from other countries.
Cleto Reyes es la mera chingoneria bandita, pero los winning estan realmente cabrones para los sparring por su excesivo colchón.
I prefer not to translate that sentence, not at the moment xd
no wrist support is preferred . more real punching
Ответитьclitoris?
ОтветитьThank you bro
ОтветитьI agree for the velcro gloves.
That’s why I am using the Cleto Reyes (velcro) for my training and the Winning lace glove for the sparring.
Hey Carlo! My father in law is going to japan and what I found out is 1º - winning's are impossible to get there, out of stock EVERYWHERE.. but... reyes go really "cheap" there compared to get them from US. They only have black and red reyes but I'm inclined to get them from there. I'm between reyes and topboxer win1.. I have bad wrists and broke my hand once.. are reyes that bad when it comes to comfort? Are they good for my everyday glove (bag, mitt, sparring.. pretty much everything). Should I get the topboxer, is their quality as good as reyes? Thanks man, love your videos
ОтветитьWhat’s a good website I can buy the Reyes gloves from
ОтветитьDid anybody buy winnings from winning USA? How long does it take and how are they?
ОтветитьJust ordered some 10oz ms winning gloves for bag work and pads
ОтветитьGreat review.
ОтветитьHey Carlos, thank you for the video! I recently purchased the 16oz extra padding Cleto Reyes and I find they’re way too heavy to spar with. I’m finding my arms much more fatigued than with my original sparring gloves the 16 oz RIVAL RS100’s. I know Mexican gloves tend to run on the heavier side, however I’m wondering how true to weight the 14oz or 16oz Reyes Training gloves are? Please let me know if you have any insights!
ОтветитьThis guy is comparing two different size gloves and saying “wow this bigger one has more more for some weird reason.
How dumb is that,
The winning glove is better by the way
Cletoris
ОтветитьDoes anyone know experience a small issue with the Reyes gloves when it come to the thumb
Idk if I got a bat batch but something about the thumb fitting on the Reyes just doesn’t do it for me.
Anyone feel the same?
hey man thanks for the videos. I bought these two gloves. cleto reyes is perfect in every way. but the winning workmanship and leather quality are very bad. not comparable to cleto reyes.

ОтветитьAre laced Cleto Reyes great for wrist protection? Or the strapped one is Better?
ОтветитьReyes are for punchers.
ОтветитьJust to put on a pair of Cleto Reyes is fine with me...
ОтветитьPacquiao's favorite CletoReyes
ОтветитьI wish winning had the rubber patch on the Velcro strap like they have on the back of the lace gloves
ОтветитьIm 5 ft 3' 113.97 lbs should i go for reyes 12 oz or 14 oz ?
ОтветитьIf you are a hard puncher, Winning. If you are a volume puncher, Cleto Reyes.
ОтветитьI would still prefer rival. I dont like the cleto reyes since i opened them then it peels off when i look at the back of the reyes gloves. Very disappoint
ОтветитьThese gloves look giant on you lol
Ответитьbought a pair of the wbc edition cleto's (velcro) and thoroughly been enjoying them. great feedback and construction. only issue for me is that the cleto's can sometimes hurt my thumb- but i think it'll improve in time as i break them in more.
ОтветитьYou should review T3s vs Reyes training :)
ОтветитьBoth gloves looks great 👌🏼
Ответитьhow does the hayabusa t3 compare to these, is it a substantial upgrade?
ОтветитьBroo pleasee answer me. Please.
I have 14 oz Cleto. It fits well for me after I wrapped my hand using 180”.
Now I really want to get the Winning. Should I go with the same 14 oz or the 16 oz for Winning? Super confused. Does Winning has same or smaller hand compartment than Cleto??
Please Bro I need your Help. Tks bro
They need a cleto eyes safe tech 16 oz to compete with Grant and with custom colors and it’s over
ОтветитьThose 14 oz winning look bigger than the 16 oz cleto reyes
ОтветитьGood, Honest, comparison in this video. I do not won a pair of Winning, mainly because I just can not justify spending $500 on a glove just to say I have a pair when I already own Cleto Reyes gloves that give you a better glove for half the price. You can see the quality difference in this video which is obvious. Thanks for a good review, with honesty at the forefront. Keep up the good work Carlo and God Bless.
ОтветитьJust got some Winning MS-600 gloves. Can’t wait to use them in sparring!
ОтветитьI only have one question...
Why is the Winning glove so much more expensive than Cleto Reyes though? Lmao
Its like its made of gold or something haha
Rayes for fights... no other gloves comes close. According to my humble opinion.
ОтветитьCLETO REYES #1🥊
Ответитьthe french translation says ''clitoris'' everytime you say cleto reyes xD
ОтветитьManny pacquaio use training for winning .....but actual fight ..cletto reyes
ОтветитьReyes looks better, and has nice piping detail. Why are winning so expensive when they look to have less going on material/detail wise?
ОтветитьHow does these compare to hayabusa t3 for muay thai and mma?
ОтветитьWhat websites can I pick up a pair of legitimate Winning gloves?
ОтветитьI agree with your opinion on the velcro versions of these gloves.
The Winning lace ups are the best gloves I have ever owned or put on.
I'm waiting on a pair of Onx Xfactor gloves to arrive though. I can't wait to feel what those are like.
Thank you for this review. I really like the Cleto Reyes Sky Blue. If you can spare the time, please make a comparison of both gloves on the heavy bag, I would appreciate.
Do you actually own all these gloves? It would be so cool if you were in my gym and I could try some of your gloves every now an then. :-)
This should be a review about the experience of landing punchers in sparring or on bags, not how pretty gloves look
ОтветитьIs there a difference between lace ups and velcro
ОтветитьWhere I can buy winning gloves?
ОтветитьWhich ones pop louder on the mitts?
Ответить
