I'm shocked by how many positive reviews and comments have been posted. I'm a long time fan and I can listen to 3 or 4 songs off the album and that's all. The rest are sheer disappointment IMO.

First it was The Summoning. Wore that song out. Then Chokehold, then Granite, then Vore! Then Aqua Regia. But this song. I can't get over it. This album is shaping up to be an absolute, all-time greatest I've ever heard. I love to hear a band hit their stride like this. It doesn't happen often. These songs are so good.

This song is about someone you love being suicidal. I can never listen to it without feeling real pain.

i think the line “are you really okay?” is so strong because of the word “really”. anyone can say “are you okay?”, and you can just say yeah, sure, but if you say “are you REALLY okay?”, sounds like you care much more and you’re genuinely wondering if they are, and it makes the question pierce you so much more.

Whenever Vessel says "I want to help you but I don't know how", it hurts me on every level. I wish i could help the people who are going through these thoughts, but at the same time i cant, as im going through the same process, and it hurts to see that i cant provide any sort of healing to them. Songs heavy as fuck and its only heavier when you get to that point of thinking
