ОтветитьLovely that you kept your name's Dutch pronunciation, good for you! Have a nice hike young lady, you picked a tough one.
ОтветитьI love your videos.... awesome adventures
ОтветитьThank you very much for the video, the details and the list of gear in the comments.
ОтветитьWelcome to hiking, Suzi! Sorry, but you are a walking example of what's trending. 50 days hiking? Let's be realistic - we have work to do, family to take care of...
First of all - you look like you are 160 cm tall, about 47 kg. That means a lot smaller and lighter gear.
Second - no food or drink in your list. That means +2 kg - So, 9 kg backpack in total. Minimalist? Yes, if that was your winter gear weight.
Third - since you are an influencer, you should be setting an example - your shoes, Altra Trailrunners - are you trail running? No - you are carrying camping gear, which is way more than these shoes are made to support. When hiking with camping gear in alpine terrain, it is a must to wear proper above the ankle hiking boots. There are plenty of modern, breathable and light brands, that protect your ankles and feet from the elements. Not some soft mesh flip flops for running, or God forbid - flatfeet - that would croak out in the first muddy puddle, creek crossing or rocky traverse. Rock climbs are out of the question.
And finally - talk about how much it costs to achieve that list - not everyone can afford it. Sleeping pad, bag and tent alone are at least 1000 euro.
Buen video, espero que te gustara pirineos. Saludos !
ОтветитьVery interesting video, straightforward, to the point, and honest. Been dreaming of doing that kind of hiking, and sailing, for years. Great that some people actually get out there and do it. Even better when they share some of their experience online. Thank you.
Ответить"You have to hike your own hike"❤
ОтветитьHola Suzanne.
Has the snow melted already?
ОтветитьWhy are the higher stages too much for the dog??
Ответитьmerci , très intéressant.je suis comptant d avoir put voir votre chaine.
ОтветитьGreat set-up!
Can you walk the GR11 with a dog? I thought that there were parts that dogs are not allowed.
Great hiking!
I’m from Belgium and often go out hiking. And I also have a dog!
All the best, Kaat
Great vid. Looks fantastic !
ОтветитьVery interesting but a question. You are hiking on the French side of the border i suppose because wild camping is not permitted in Spain ? So you have to stay on the French side or can you hike in one day from one shelter to another to pass the night ?
ОтветитьProud of you ❤
