This whole crowd gives off many indications that it’s not safe for a woman alone at this night market.
Ответитьالتحرش الجنسي في مصر يعتبر من العادات والتقاليد المصرية العريقة
ОтветитьDON'T VISIT EGYPT.
ОтветитьAll of the men ogling you like a piece of meat and you decided to stay and live in Egypt
ОтветитьWow, watching this brings back memories for me. I've never been through that market alone though. I also have a video up on here being at Khan El-Khalili market as well as some other videos in Egypt. I want this time to go to Aswan hopefully in the next couple of years depending on the selling of my books, since Aswan has a big role in my fantasy novel series that involves my main character Sobek and involving other Egyptian gods as well. 😀I subbed your channel.
ОтветитьHi dear😊. I am an ltalian woman close to her 50s and l have had some solo traveller experiences like yours😊. The "harassment" has always been a part of the trip, especially in this kind of markets (souk) or even at the hotel lobby by some receptionists (like saying they are very good at s*x etc). But as soon as you behave normally, like you and l do, thing never go out of control. I have walked with male guide around, so it might be a little safer, but never felt "in danger". Going back to Cairo in March as a solo traveller, let' s hope for the best❤.
ОтветитьDisgusting behavior, I am terribly sorry for you
ОтветитьALSO Some guy grabbed my butt in khan wl kalili. My friend was with me and he thinks it is negative the guy was trying to steal something from me and missed
ОтветитьI got touched in the market outside the pyramids. It was gross but i heard so much stories that i wasn't surprised
ОтветитьIts called TAHARRUSH GAMEA...
ОтветитьDon’t visit Egypt every single will harras you for money or sexually
ОтветитьShakira is a bad meaning you know it?
ОтветитьI will never go to Egypt! It's one of the places that I would love to go and I travel but I will never go there. The "rapey" looks they give you is not worth seeing pyramids. Shame on Egyptian men. I'm so glad I'm an American!!
ОтветитьIncredibly open-minded and tolerant young woman, not a pushover either. People who travel a lot tend to be so. The tush who felt free to assault you is absolutely disgusting.
And impressive pronunciation btw 👌
Thats fked up i'm pissed but please dont go to such places in Egypt specially that very narrow area.
Ответитьbeautiful place but some people there actually piss me off regarding the harassment with a single female traveler. imagine if you do not have a camera to record yourself for safety purposes.try to visit Portsaid or Damietta with your bike and see where the Nile meets the Mediterranean sea in Damietta or the Suez canal in Portsaid with your bike. you will enjoy it. Cairo is okay ,but very crowded
ОтветитьI have no idea why people want to go to Egypt especially women
ОтветитьLots of people in Egypt same mentality is same harrasment type
ОтветитьDon't speak with the men or smile at them they think all American women are whores. If you have a questioned ask a woman not a man! I don't understand why people want to visit a country where woman alone are never safe and for God's sake cover your head with a scarf. You have to be strong with the men learned some good Arabic words to tell them off.
ОтветитьLong live Egypt from Germany. My greetings. 🇪🇬🙏
ОтветитьIt was very foolish of you to go by yourself.
ОтветитьReally sorry about that but it does happen every where its not all Egyptian the same ❤
ОтветитьSo sorry that happened to you. That guy was lucky you didn't knock him out. I went to Khan el-Kalili; it was way to crowded and hectic and the vendors were constantly trying to get my attention to buy their cheap junk. My group wanted to go back another night and I said "no way, once was enough."
ОтветитьI'm sorry you had this experience.. This is the reason why I hate Egypt. No morals or sympathy. I hope you take a good care of yourself here and choose the right place to visit and the right time as well.. And better with ur friends so as you avoid kidnapping ( it exists widely)
ОтветитьExcellent video. I get burned out when I do the middle east, 4 weeks then I am back in Asia for another 2 months.
ОтветитьHave you ever used the head wrap dear? If so were you treated different? Just curious. Thanks!
ОтветитьHi I just wanted to say that l feel sorry that you’ve had to experience this as an Egyptian myself I’m deeply ashamed of what had happened I hope this incident didn’t affect your opinion about Egypt and l truly condemn those dirty, small minded and disgusting people who continue to ruin Egypt’s image as tourist friendly and I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Egypt and I hope you won’t regret it.
ОтветитьIsn’t strange is another culture!! We just have to open our mind and understand 😊
ОтветитьThose guys could end up losing so many tourists because of their disgusting behavior. Shame on them,
ОтветитьTraveling alone as a woman in these types of places is truly ignorant/STUPID
ОтветитьIt happened on our tour with a licensed guide. Muslim men see all women as whores, most certainly American women. It does NOT matter how well you dress! They get away with it!
ОтветитьWell, ain't that a peach of a story? Let me break it down for ya, folks. So here you are, minding your own business, trying to navigate the streets of Egypt during Ramadan. Now, this is supposed to be a time of spiritual reflection and self-discipline, right? But what do you get? A front-row seat to a little street theater called "Harassment and Gropin' Extravaganza."
I mean, come on, folks! Ramadan is supposed to be about restraint and respect. But it's like some folks out there took the "restraint" part as an invitation to just chuck their manners out the window. They're like, "Hey, let's see how uncomfortable we can make someone feel today!" It's like they turned a holy month into a month of "Let's Make 'Em Squirm."
And let's not forget, they're not just makin' you uncomfortable, they're treatin' you like some kind of carnival attraction. "Step right up, folks, and witness the incredible feat of ignorin' personal boundaries!" It's downright shameful that in a time that's supposed to bring people together, some folks out there are just lookin' for a cheap thrill at your expense.
So, don't let anyone tell you that harassment and gropin' during Ramadan is just a cultural thing. Nah, folks, it's a big ol' slap in the face to the very principles that this time is supposed to stand for. It's like they missed the memo on respect and common decency. And you, my friend, you're left standin' there wonderin' how something so sacred turned into a sideshow of shame.
Groped… Geeez that’s an understatement wtf… Thank you for going what you go through to bring amazing content to the table! Wish I was there to break wondering hands for you! Keep yourself safe and keep up the excellent work!!!😘
ОтветитьHaving dyed hair is asking for trouble in a predominantly Muslim area,it doesn't matter if it's North Africa, the Sahel belt of West Africa or the Persian Gulf, please protect yourself.
ОтветитьLol shakira
ОтветитьYou re so courageous. 💪🙏
ОтветитьWhich mint this bullshit happened to you if I may ask?
ОтветитьThis is the Islamic culture we are importing into Europe illegally.
ОтветитьWelcome to Egyptian your second home
ОтветитьHahahahahaha why harassment, you are normal, you are not sexy or beautiful, you just have red hair dyed from scarlet beetles 😅😅😂😂
Ответитьهههههههههه ليه تحرش انت عادية لستي مثيرة او جميلة مجرد فقط تمتلكين شعر مصبوغ باللون الحمر المستخرج من الخنافس القرموزية 😅😅😂😂
Ответитьi am so sorry for that ..please try to not go alone in local locations it is dangerous for a lady
Ответить😔
ОтветитьI'm so sorry for that.
Report the orange harasser or anyone else you've seen to the police
I hope you keep your happiness and these things do not affect you, because you are wonderful
How tolerate you are!!!!!!!! I'm really sorry that you had this experience. I heard that Egypt is unsafe and men may touch women. By the way, I'm new to your channel and enjoy your videos. Mina from Iran.
ОтветитьThis might be coming from a place of ignorance, but I keep having thoughts that any second we'll see a cop dressing down a shoplift suspect then arresting him/her, but instead of slapping on cuffs pulls them by the earlobe for a couple yards until they disappear.
ОтветитьAnd also here's a little FYI for the world to know inside those markets there are also live animals literally owls with their legs bound the eagles real eagles that are bound by twine and imprisoned alligators monkeys cats and dogs all with no food or water and some sick and diseased so many animals it would blow your mind pita is trying to stop it now and doing everything they can along with lady freethinker that market to be broadcasted shame on you Lady shame on you because you are lying to the world deceiving them to believe one thing when you obviously don't know the truth about Egypt or you would not be hiding the facts
ОтветитьThis is quiet common in that market. We faced the same.
Ответить
