I wish a story would be done about her husband Ken who has loved and cared for Joni sacrificially for many decades. I would like to know more about his walk with Jesus through all of this.

Wow this made me cry. All the suffering she had endured and she praises God with every fiber of her being. Hallelujah! I have no excuse for not praising the Lord in everything, I have all the physical abilities I could ever need and I am not praising as much as Joni. God bless her and her message to others.

I love this video, Joni is so dear and encouraging, also sings wonderfully! The only thing: It would be hard for me to think, that the breaking of the neck was Gods answer to Jonis prayer "Do anything in my life to bring me close to you, I want that, I need that". Yes, God answered her prayer by lifting her up and pulling her closer to him in a lovely way... God used this terrible accident, but I guess God doesn´t break necks on purpose.
Still, however, my understanding is little and Joni is a mother of faith for generations!

Wow 😥 what a lesson the church currently and will always need, , God is more concerned about your heart and salvation and He loves us that much that He will allow the deepest pain if it means keeping us on that narrow path and then He uses that deepest pain to reach others who are in that deep pain in what ever way that looks like to the person and Jesus the mighty Saviour Shines 🙌 truly humbling, God bless you joni ❤️🙏

God will never put more burden on us than we can actually carry. God knew very well which burden He could load on Joni and that through time she'd be able to carry it and not brake apart. Just the opposite, to become very strong and closer to Him as ever before and encourage so many people in their sufferings and point them the way to our blessed Redeemer. One day soon He will return in the clouds of heaven and then we will be made healthy again! And this "short" time of suffering will but be a vapor in the beauty of heaven and eternal life. It will be all worth it!

YHWH made you into a beautiful lampstand that is shining light into lives that are in captive. You just motivated another woman to keep going and to remember that He will never forsake His children. Tons and tons of love for you and a big hug all the way from South Africa, just for you Joni 🌹🌹🌹

When I was a teenager I read Joni's first book - and I prayed LORD HELP JONI. I am now 65 - and I pray LORD HELP JONI. One day you will know how many people The Lord JESUS has touched through YOU.

God can empower anyone to rise above their circumstances.

I was drawn back to this video while in prayer with the lord today. Healing from my Lumpectomy from breast cancer and a few other challenges I had to get on my knees, in all my weakness, and pray. Lord I surrender I can’t do anything without you. Please help me, I trust you and I know you love me! ❤ be encouraged God is right there holding your hand.

I just got your book as a belated Mother’s Day gift, from my eldest daughter and it is so beautiful. I’ve had ME/CFS for 17 years (am almost 73!) and 2 1/2 years ago got chronic pain in my hips and one buttock. Organically nothing is wrong and 3 months ago I found I had neuroplastic pain, my brain giving the wrong message. There are ways to retire the brain,but it still takes up to 1 year. I hope with all my heart Jesus comes this year still. Cannot wait to sing with all the saints. Guess we will have one ew language? And to meet you! You haven been a beacon forme for many years! A couple of weeks ago I was hurting so much. The pain debilitates me to the point that I feel useless. I felt it would be better for my family if I were gone. That's when God brought this video to me. I praise God for your testimony.

Joni, I know that you hear all the time what an inspiration you are. And you are, but even more so, you have an incredible witness to what a close relationship is to Jesus. Turning from suicidal thoughts, I used to cry out, "Oh God, Just like she said, If I can't die, teach me how to live."
He did.
Almost 50 years later, I smile more than cry. I cry more deeply for those whose hurts tempt them to give up.

I have secretly prayed for you in your pain and celebrated your joys.

Thank you for giving to us what nothing on earth could give or take away.

I can imagine what you're going through Joni. God loves us and He's going to take care of us. Its hard. I have multiple illness, sometimes a lot of pains. When I was going to the doctor's yesterday the pain in my shoulder was coming. I said to it you go in the name of Jesus. I crush you in the name of Jesus, you won't believe it I had no more pain. Praise the Lord. I took so many scans and blood tests, they are all negative but I'm still sick. I'm learning to talk to Jesus more depending on Him. Sometimes I argued with Him cry out to Him, but He understands because He was human. He will surely see us through. God bless you my dear, we have to pray for each other. Love you. Alexandra🙏❤

My Lord God Forgives all my sin and heals all my diseases. Psalm 103:3. Our God Is Our God of miracles. Hey loves you and wants to heal you. Just believe❤❤

God didn’t do this. Consequences of our actions. We are all one bad decision from disaster. And God knew from the beginning of time. He will never leave us nor forsake , ever. Amen.
