how will you take your pigeons with you when you move? :o
ОтветитьNice aviary..I need one. Winter in Virginia is Canadian and New England hawks living on soley birds. Summer is better; a late flight usually means the falcons and hawks have already eaten.
ОтветитьYeah bro ....
This is all about the love 💕 and caring for animals but some people think negative about animals ...
I am also a 🐦 birds lover...so I know 😏 your feelings about piegons
My grandad used to have lots of pigeons for races
ОтветитьThis is a great video and should be used in schools and for pigeon education. Hope to someday have what you have....loved these birds since i was ten and often hand raised fallen babies....once ready they had complete freedom outside but would show up when i called and or for food. These birds are so underrated and rescuing is so cool. I've raised a few types of other birds as well. I had one male pigeon, free after weaning......one day when he was about 2 yrs....i was riding my bike and all of a sudden a bunch of feathers hit my face while he attempted to land on the handle bars a presume !! I crashed of course but i was still amazed that he new me on the mike, needless to say finally mother nature took it's course and i saw him less and less assuming he found love.....people are so misinformed about them. Need to find some way to live with them in the cities....hummm. great work.
ОтветитьGreat video thanks for helping these beautiful birds
ОтветитьI did have a pigeon back then, I called him spot bc he was white with black spots. He also had a collar at the start of his neck that reflects some emerald like color when in the sun, I loved having him and seeing a pigeon up close. I never knew they were size of an average human head, or at least close to that. But he wasn’t enjoying his stay, we couldn’t get a big enough cage yet we were able to give him food and water, so me and my dad decided to let him out of his cage and roam our backyard. He didn’t fly right away because one of his wings were clipped, but the feathers probably grew back since he flew away after a while. It was a fine experience, not too exciting or boring, it also included birds so :>
ОтветитьI love pigeons so this was a great video to watch. I'm glad people care for them. I like to put seed out for them outside my home and feed them in the park. I have also rescued a few and taken them to my local wildlife hospital. They are smart and beautiful birds.
Ответитьfood bin shot/angle was excellent.
I always think of Hey Arnold!'s Pigeon Man when I see pigeon coops
you are incredibly gorgeous person, thank god for humans like you
ОтветитьNice loft! Just a pointer: pigeons like solid wood perches , not swinging rope. Wide enough for their toes to spread.
ОтветитьI found a baby pigeon as a kid from under a bridge. He couldn't fly yet and the bridge was very high where the other pigeons would hang out. Lots of traffic. So I took him home, kept him outside in an old nest box but it was open, so he was free to leave when he wanted but it was high away from cats, had to feed him with a syringe at first. Looked like an adult eventually and would fly away but come back. Well eventually he flew away and didn't come back. I feared the worst. About a 6months or a year later he came back to the nest box that was still there! I was in shock! But he had turned into a beautiful male bird with nice green around his neck. I fed him, petted him, and eventually he flew away never to be seen again. I always assumed he went back to the bridge with all the other pigeons which was 10 miles away or so. It's a memory I'll never forget.
Ответитьi love your birds and your aviary - i have several pet pigeons that were rescued feral babies. they are amazing
ОтветитьGreat video… do you sometimes let them out of their cage?
ОтветитьFeral birds get alot of foot and leg issues. String thread and elastics get wrapped,I have been caring and feeding 88 beauty's and have a nice bond.

It is truly great to see someone else with the same attitude about pigeons as I do. I really love my birds and the hours of fun we have together. Good job Joey !!!!!

Ответитьno greater love than a pigeon or dog
ОтветитьHi I just watched Your because I have such a fascination for these birds April 15, 2023 a beautiful bird came to visit me. She was white with gray wings and a very short beak. She looked like a pigeon but looks like a dove anyway several months she lived in the garage she didn’t want to leave she would come down to eat, she would fly a little bit little interaction with other birds and then finally I took her in with a small cage. She was doing well then she seemed like she was falling over on one side. I thought she hurt her leg I gave her baths in the tub with clean water. She ate well, and she drank her water which I bought liquid vitamins for yesterday. She died out of nowhere she just laid on her side and died and I don’t understand why that could happen. I miss her terribly. She didn’t show any signs of being ill. I never figured out why she came to me in the first place. I do feed the pigeons, but she came, and she walked right into my garage and never left, I would like to get another one or two maybe perhaps someday build an : aviary any suggestions.
ОтветитьGreat. Nice birds. Take care.
ОтветитьI rescued injured peigom and going to get aviary soon
ОтветитьDo you ever let them out to fly or are they strictly aviary bound?
Ответить
