real world 0-60 on the y performance is 3.5. they also stated 3.7 for the model 3 accel boost which does it in 3.4

I hate Tesla reviews where the reviewer doesn't even know the car. Want to turn the A/C lower? Push right button on wheel and say "make it cooler". They guy never even mentions the voice capabilities of this car. In my opinion, Tesla's voice recognition is 2nd to none.

I have a 2022 M3LR and the acceleration is instantaneous. I can't imagine the Model Y has a lag as he says unless he accidentally put it in Chill Mode. And my Tesla takes turns without ever needing assistance on all except the sharpest hairpin turns. And never ping pongs between lane markings like he says the Ioniq does. Once you get used to it, its behavior is quite predicable and you know when to keep a firm grip just in case. But those times are rare.

Are Teslas perfect? Hell no. I have a long list of things I wish they'd improve. Some of them are already in the next generation Model 3. But parts of this review are utter nonsense.

Too much and too fast for legacy automakers. I have logged tens of thousands of miles on rented EVs from various providers over the last 10 months.Quite often over 1200 miles per week in the very crowded NE corridor. From MD north to VT and west to OH. Lewis and Clark comes to mind you really have to accept the challenges and plan accordingly.

Tesla's look like children born to selfish mothers that refused to stop drinking, drugging and smoking during pregnancy.

"full self driving " from tesla is dangerous marketing. its grossly misrepresenting the tech.

For me the Ioniq 5 seems to be the choice. Also dont forget there is a Hyundai dealership in every town. A Tesla service center can be about 90 minutes one way for alot of people.

I think one huge advantage is coming out of the mall and knowing which car is yours when looking into a sea of Teslas.

Why compare two cars when you outfit one with options that the other doesn’t have , which is why the price is more consumer friendly.. ya I never keep oranges on the front passenger floor , wow . What stretch.I’m not an Ioniq5 owner but this leans towards Teslas. The two sleeping bag frunk sold it for me

For those outside the US, the build quality of non American made Teslas is significantly better, the Shanghai models are the best, even Elon said they are the best built in the world. Test drove a Shanghai built model and it was quiet, panel gaps and a well built car with none of the issues I see from US reviewers

Not sure it's a Tesla specific issue either as my Jeep grand Cherokee is garbage, it's a throw away car. not sure I'd buy a Tesla if only the US built model was sold here

Tesla is overpriced and over hyped. Friends of mine all sold them. Fit and finish was horrible on all of them and the paint is so bad on Tesla’s that they went back to BMW and Acura. Kia looks better than Tesla. Wow their doors close as they should too - go figure.
