The AC just broke again (10/19/2021). Hopefully this 3rd time it's failed since I made this video it's still as simple as just cleaning all the crap out! Wish me luck 🤗

Funny thing… at my in-laws house they bought three of these LG units. They might be the same one as yours. When it gets warm I’d go down to their house to install them.

Few years ago I dropped one out the window! Somehow I fixed it and it still works today! 😂

This is a terrific room air conditioner. Our main unit went out but this unit is just as good for my living area. My electric bill went down as well. Glad we got it.

My LG unit is not turning on, my power went out after an electric storm. This is a brand-new unit, after the power came back on I used my remote to turn my unit on nothing happened. I had my unit on when the power went out. Please Advise!

i do this every year to all my window acs just so they dont get this bad but sometimes they due depending if the town decides to do leaf clean up or make a lot of dust by tearing up the road

yep, those filters let a lot of dirt by them. also the outside coil has no filter and will buildup from the inside where you cant see it. I take mine apart every year cover the elecronic board and spray the piss out of it with the hose. Let it dry for a day before putting it back into service. I usually leave it apart so it dries better then the next day put back together.

I used to enjoy jerry but without any new videos it’s not worth subbing or watching his livestream videos. He basically went from “wanting to do a review on the switch lite, but instead we got this.

Surprised to see all the podcasts gone. Not a subscriber anymore but used to be and unsubbed at some point due to politics that infected your channel.
However, no podcasts gives me hope no political bs anymore and getting back to the roots.
I truly hope you get back to doing the classic nerdgasm stuff you used to, because you would definitely start getting more subs.

Hello Good video question do these units have fuses… if so where?

There is no reason to worry about getting water on the evaporator coil "the inside radiator". The coil produces water that it pulls from the air, cleaning it with a good coil cleaner like nu-brite will make those coils shine like brand new.

that's good that you cleaned it instead of throwing it away cause those compressors are thermally protected meaning if the hot coil (outside) gets too clogged it will overload the compressor making it too hot and thermally shutting down

Remember. Theoretically. 90% of electronic are water proof. Provided they are off. And fully dry before use. Except batteries
