From what I understand: enabling ClearImage Zoom makes you loose eye/face autofocus detection. However Active SteadyShot doesn’t have this drawback! Correct?

I just got the Sony ZV10 and the Sigma 30mm 1.4 and I was so disapointed because I am a beginner and I thought I made bad options because I cannot use the camera and the lens, but this legend gave me hope that I made the good decidion, thank you so much...

Really good tips! You cannot use Clear Zoom and shoot RAW pictures at the same time. Format have to be set to JPEG.

With the hack for Steadyshor, makimg the 16mm to 30 32 mm..would you say this is also another option for the 16 35mm 2.8f which costs more?

Hi there! Because of your videos, I've just bought a ZV-E10. So far I'm really satisfied with my new camera. I'm using RAW format for my pictures, but I've just noticed that the ARW files can't be previewed on a Mac (I've tried it in 3 different Mac computers, all with different OS). I don't see no one mentioning that... so maybe I'm really missing something very simple and that's not even a "real issue" OR... can it be a SD issue?
There's simply no thumbnails for these files and when I hit the space bar on a Mac, files are not previewed. It's OK when I import the files on LR, though. Can you please help me?

a big downside i just notice is that by turning on the the clear image zoom the autofocus will be disable. the same happens by enabling the pc remote function for using a monitoring app..do u know any solution? ❤️ your content ✌️

I have a question about colors and pictur profiles. I don't find realistic the colors this camera shows in the display, compared to what you see when you download in the pc and watch it with a good screen. Is there any way of making it better?
Also can I record in HLG3 and watch it in the screen in something similar to what I would see after color grading?

Absolutely great video (I just bought the ZV-E10 after watching your review about the camera and I'm super happy with it). A beginner question: this "zoom" achieved with the SteadyShot and the Clear Image Zoom just crops the image but doesn't change the lens distortion/effect, right? So if you want the actual longer focal image (example: 50 mm for portrait) you need the optical lens.

Only one question i did not see the answer: When you use clear image zoom and you crop in by 1.5 or 2.0, is it with the crop still in 4k or does the crop resizes the complete videoresolution? Hi Mark, need help with my zv-e10. After updating my lens firmware to version 2, i noticed that when zooming in with my kit lens to 50mm it has this digital zoom of up to x1.4 even though i already set my cam to optical zoom only. Kinda weird. Any idea how to fix that? 😁

,ive been looking at your videos about the ZV E10, do you have a topic with ZV E10 plugged into an external monitor, I havr a feelworld f6 plus, and the ZVE10 screen turns blank if plugged into the ext monitor via HDMI.

is it possibe to turn on both screens?

Now that I've got the camera and learning to use it, I have a question and hope you can answer it.
For the Sony Full Frames, there's a setting under ISO called ISO Auto Min SS which sets the lower limit for Shutter speed at Aperture priority mode.

I'm trying to find the same for the ZVE10 and couldn't find it anywhere and not even on blogs, community pages etc.
Have you used this or know where it's available?

Hi Mark, you are great! One question, for the basic kit lens of the zve-10 for a more stable shooting is it better to use steady shot or can you also use the standard function since the basic kit lens allows it? Are they stabilized the same way? Thanks in advance, greetings from Italy!!

Great content Mark! Always delivering tons of value! The best PP for the zve10 seems to be PP10 HLG3 and the best PP for the a7iv is s-log3. How do you match the footage of both cameras? Are HLG3 and s-log3 close enough after applying only the color correction or do you have to do extra editing?

Hello! I have the ZV-E10 too but can’t figure our to set it up for podcast with 2 people. Keeps loosing focus and end up focusing on the background.

Is using OSS to crop in the same as just cropping the the footage later on in post?
