I adhere to Newton’s roygbiv. Today what we call cyan is just blue. What we call dark blue is indigo. And violet is next, not purple.

People never turned green when they were sick. But seasick and leaning over the side of a ship to vomit, the blue sky reflected off the water onto your face from below, your face looks green. Thus green is forever the vomitting color.
