The bloke Mick Rodgers was pretty young at the time, Aussies don't expect a million dollars for just lending a bike. We are more interested in competing and being part of the game. Look for footage of Simon Clarke giving Ritchie porte a wheel on whole Ritchie Porter was racing for sky racing in the giro di Italia Aussie Aussie Aussie oui oui oui

"What bike? Someone get this jerk out of here"

If I was Michael Rogers I would have been over the moon for Adam and would be praising the legend like crazy

Man that dude (the racer) seems like a real piece of work. I bet that other dude (bike loaner) never brings his bike to the race again. I wouldnt. Not if all i got was a jersey and aome knicks. Whatever those are... theres a million things he could have gotten him but naw.

Think the guy who lent the bike should have got more screen time. The odds of it all are astounding and there wouldn't have been a win without his help.

This doesn't happen often in a skydiving competition.

The wife who was told that the bike barely cost a 1000$ now has the shocked pikachu face as she stands behind the scene and listens to the host :D

That spectator was a very humble person. He was probably asked to be there by the media to be asked a couple of questions and as soon as they were done with him he bowed out knowing that what people were there for was Rogers and not him. So he got his face on tv so he could prove that it was him and then stepped aside out of the spotlight. I hope Rogers rewarded him with something special for his good deed, he deserved it. Also amazing job by Rodgers to do so great with a "random" bike.

I am curious to what happened to the spectator's bike. That bike might worth few hundred more than it should be

Wow what a coincidence, so crazy that it's almost as if it's not a coincidence.
