He did recognize her voice but he didn’t turn because he thought it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to turn. I understand his pov he would have been in a awkward position as would his niece.

I feel like it's best when people who are related to the voice coaches don't go with the coach they're related to. Because if they did, and the coach chose to put their relative through after knock outs, there would be questions of favoritism, and if they didn't... well that would just be awkward
