As a trans person I wanna see this documentary just cuz I think it's interesting. That being said, the documentary is harmful and shouldn't exist. I do not agree with it at all.

Studies have shown that the actual percentage of people who regret transitioning is much lower than right wing media would like—it’s around one percent. Transitioning saves infinitely more lives than it will ever take and is a good thing 99% of the time—yes, even in young people. Stop thinking kids can’t know anything about who they are or who they like. Trans kids begin thinking about their gender at such early ages that they can realize they’re trans early on, and that is okay. Same with sexuality—I came out when I was 12, and my parents didn’t believe me at the time, but that didn’t make me any less gay. And yes, I am still gay. Kids can and often do know who they are, and that is a good thing.

No, boomers, just because you fear technology doesn't mean it's to blame for everything you don't like. Trans people have ALWAYS existed, long before the internet. The internet has just given them the means to express themselves in a society that has wanted them to be shamed into silence. And, no, kids in the US are NOT getting surgeries, and no, schools aren't supplying litter boxes to kids who identify as cats.

As a girl who likes girls, and has grown up with guy friends and who went through highschool, outed by my guy friends and picked on my freshman year for liking a girl... I wanna say it's just not that simple. I've heard every argument in the book. "God made you a girl" "I identify as an attack helicopter" "if gays get normalized, what'll happen next? Pedophiles?" And I wanna say. For me... these are questions that run through my head all the time. But I do know what gets me through it. Jesus. While i know I'm a sinner and make mistakes, i know he doesnt and he paid the ultimate sacrifice for me so that i may be forgiven for these things i cant help. And yes i do believe you cant help being gay. Or you cant help who you like. You can choose what you act on though. I've never kissed a girl even being in a relationship. I'm too ashamed. But what helps me through that is knowing that in every action I make, I do it for the glory of God. So really what i like in a relationship is a companion. Someone to spend time with and bring me closer to God and to serve him with. I know some will say it is a sin. But all have fallen short of the glory of God. We all sin. He without sin cast the first stone. And I'm not promoting sin or saying its okay.. I'm promoting love. Love covers a multitude of sins. (That's in the bible) and as far as the trans thing goes. I'm still struggling with loving myself as I am.

Everyone's experience is so different! IF the culture is punishing, a doctor botches surgery, or an individual does not have the required emotional/mental evaluation and is not ready with paperwork of that- then course they're going to question later!

Androgyny will become far more common and accepted in the future. It's just that right now, we're in that weird, unsettling spot in history where sex transitioning medicines and surgeries can only do so much. Androgyny only works as a blank slate. Mixing hypermasculine and hyperfeminine body parts together in a weird mish-mash crosses into the uncanny valley where someone who isn't female is trying REALLY, REALLY HARD to convince you they're male when they're moreso intersex, and the intersex body parts were created not naturally, but through medicines and surgeries that don't actually change your sex. We can see right through it, your body is built of parts that aren't as advanced as you think they are, and you can't convince anyone.

If there was some sort of machine that can easily convert a blank slate male into a female, I'd 100% be down with that. But we don't have that yet. But what can we do to get there? Do we just slog our way through this culture war and just accept that trans people exist but subconsciously hate their existence and wish they didn't go out of their way before transition medicines and surgeries evolve into gene therapy? Nobody wants to be part of the dark cultural times.

I feel I should see this. Because I am aware that such a thing is happening and while I can see how the trans people may be happy, then why do I feel so much ache in my heart if I were them. I can never wish I were a boy or even wish anyone want the pains on being a girl like me.

This is absolutely disgusting. It calls itself a documentary, but uses highly dramatized, albeit horrifically acted, vignettes to emotionally manipulate the audience.

This Docudrama its just a transphobic propagando for people to be afraid of transitioning...One thing its being supportive and cautelous about a thing that will permantelly change your body and other thing its being just blatantly transphobic.

Look at the solution to this, if somene is 16 and wants to be of legal independence in regards to themselves, and then hold others free from legal penalties for surgery, relationship, then they should be able to sign a Declaration of Independence, what our Founding ForeFathers set in motion. The state should not be able to take kids away from parents because parents disagree with their children living under their home and rule, it should be up to the individual though if they want a Declation or Independence to liberate then to their own decisions before the world. Problem solved Constitutionally

im just gonna be honest with you, transitioning has been nothing but entirely good for me no regrets in 5 years of it.

Hi. I'm a trans guy that is a minor.

I've always wanted to be a boy, one of my earliest memories was telling my mom that I was going to be a boy growing up she had the 'god made you a girl' thing so I was like 'okay, I'll probably stop feeling this way' I never stopped feeling that way.

I am 17 and I do not plan on medically transitioning while I am a minor, it is a preventable big decision that .1% of people regret (My stats trans peple >1% and people who regret tranistioning >1% so it would be less than a percent of the population) .1% of people is still a lot of people.

I think social transition is good, great even, it lets them explore themselves so they don't regret transitioning, it is confirmation. I feel like people should have to talk to some people and socially transition before getting any medically done.


If I have enough money when I am 18, I plan on starting testosterone and saving up for top surgery, after top surgery I will look into bottom surgery. If I regret transitioning then boo-hoo I made that choice and I have to live with it but I am not going to take that away for other trans people I would still support them.

I am slowly inching closer to my 18th year on this earth and I am nervous I want to tell my mom, my grandparents, my aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, my dad but I know that a lot of them won't accept me and I love them but I think I can hang on without telling the ones who don't accept me until the testosterone becomes hard to hide.

I have planned and researched and thought about it ever since I knew I could be a boy. I may regret it, but I doubt I will.
