In the US, the FAA will be calling the pilot as he can't ever lose eye contact with the drone. Wearing googles is not contact and he needs a spotter who has visual contact at all times.

Wow the riders have great skill but I just kept thinking it must have taken so much focus and skill on the part of the drone pilot. But i once heard if the camera man has true expertise you'll forget they are even there.
