You should have a little jig , piece of 2/4 with a 8 penny common nail about 3/4 into it . Then you can place the loops around it to keep everthing in order and also to tighten knots . The way you did it you compromised the mono by not wetting it .

Sorry I tried to keep my Commons positive but I just don't understand this it was a waste of time it was long drawn out and it was very complicated watching you tie that knot you need to be talking and explain the way the tag end is and this not good special enough of a beginners like myself
