Your so helpful-
Ответитьwhat about 疲れたよ ? 🤔
ОтветитьEvery Omori fan: OYASUMI-
ОтветитьNemui. I say 'nemui' because I'm being entertained. (I really should go to sleep, though.)
ОтветитьThe frustrated "2 again?" I needed that. Thanks for the validation 😂
ОтветитьWhat about Otsukata mashita😴
ОтветитьEnglish has a similar difference too!
Nemui (my phone can’t type in Japanese yet so this is my solution) would translate to sleepy, but with the added context for Nemutai, it would translate to “tired” or “exhausted” given the context and how extreme the feeling is.
Edit:
Here’s some sentences to illustrate what I’m saying better.
“I’m sleepy, goodnight”
“I’m so tired, but I still have so much work to do 😢”
“I’m so exhausted from that hike I could just pass out right now”
So it’s just sleepy (I could use a nap) vs. tired (if I don’t get sleep I’ll become violent)
ОтветитьSo sleepy vs tired
ОтветитьTai form is the “I want” form right?
Ответить眠っ
ОтветитьBro doulingo is losing my trust 😢😂
ОтветитьNemutai...
The -tai ending means want to, right? Which is why it's a bother, you want to sleep but cannot.
What is your skincare routine girl? You look like an angel ❤
ОтветитьI understand Owarase, what does owarasenakiya mean.
ОтветитьSo basically ねむい is "im sleepy" and ねむたい is "I want to sleep"?
ОтветитьMay Fabric Pramod lodhi job hilp?
Ответить使い分けたことなかったわ…なんで2つあんだろ
ОтветитьI'm Japanese.
〝ねむい(nemui)〟 and 〝ねむたい(nemutai)〟 have the same meaning.
違いがあったのか
ОтветитьNemui will be like half my vocabulary
ОтветитьIsn't ねむたぃ means want to sleep or. am I missing something?
ОтветитьEven as a Japanese, I couldn’t verbalize the difference between the two or even didn’t know how different because I naturally use both separately. Well explained!
Ответитьえ、30年生きてきててどっちでもいいと思ってるが
ОтветитьSo like tired and sleepy I suppose
ОтветитьI'm Japanese. Someone coments ねむたい literaly means "want to sleep" but that is incorrect. Indeed, adding たい to the verb means "want to" so ねむりたい means "want to sleep." But it is not verb. Some adjectives can end in たい, for example, おもい/おもたい(heavy), けむい/けむたい(smoky). These adjectives have almost same meanings and we care little for the differences but we feel たい adjectives are a little more subjetive and emotional whereas ねむい and おもい are objective.
ОтветитьYou could say tsukerata Idk how to spell it
Ответить初めて知ったwwwww
Ответить眠たいって、ねたいとねむいがくっついた言葉みたいな使い方するんだなあ
Ответить正直日本人はほとんど使い分けないのでどっちでもいいです
日本より
How do i say "i want to sleep" in japanese? 「私は眠たい」 is this the correct way of saying it? 😅

And that’s why I drink copious amounts of Energy Drinks mixed with coffee. About 650-1036Mg of Caffeine to be Exact.
ОтветитьDoesn't "nemutai" literally mean "I want to sleep" because of the "tai", which is usually a shortcut of "shitai", which is commonly used as "want to" as in "want to do something"?
ОтветитьMost young people use "ねっむ"(nemmu)
ОтветитьI personally don't make a difference between them
ОтветитьThe nemutai example is literally me right now, I'm trying to finish my homework for tomorrow morning and i'm sleepy ://
But since my teacher trusts me so much, i don't want to broke her trust so i gotta finish that :'<
I'm Japanese but i'd say both nemui and nemutai have same nuances. We don't have to think which we should use. There is just a soooooo little difference.
ОтветитьNemui in life Japanese: 1%
Nemutai: 99%
