You think you could pack this in a snake skin?

Suspension hammocks are great but they take up all the room in my pack. There needs to be a 10 - 11 foot hammock, double layered with an asymetric lay.. .. and a bug net.. Mosquitos will ruin your trip..

Woman, if you want a sustainable product go buy one. Otherwise, leave manufacturers to make their own choices based on their respective markets and their customer's desires.

20 minutes to set up😂 once you’ve done, it’s beyond simple and fast. I made a mattress cover out of a sheet and put the mattress in it, absolutely quiet. My Safari XL is super stable never felt unstable at all. HUGE plus is it sets up on the ground too.
This is definitely not a backpacking tent/hammock ( the Safari XL is heavy) but works perfectly for Kayak’n and Motorcycle camping.

I don’t want a tent that’s biodegradable 😂😂

you cant recycle nylon, its a thermo-set plastic, it burns before it melts

the only plastics that can be recycled industrially are PETE and HDPE
and then, only slightly, and both lack the tensile strength of PA6 (nylon) and would have a significantly shorter lifespan, as those plastics degrade in sunlight and do not resist ripping

but at least, every drop of gasoline they used to make the tent isn't being burned in an engine

and since it is cheap, lightweight and waterproof , we are stuck with it

however, the tent stakes and poles are made out of recycled metal

Everything is great till you experience the HAVEN POP AND DROP. When you least expect it Pop than the Drop. Your pole just blew thru one of those poor excuse for pockets. Believe me I've gone thru 2 in less than 3 years. Good luck.

I wish people would stop trying to tell companies what materials to use and how to make their products! A good product doesn't need to be made out of recycled materials if recycled materials can be used at all?
