It also consumes less fuel and is cheaper to operate and maintain. Furthermore, it is lighter therefore less prone to sinking in mud. I do have say that the engine of the abrams is more powerful but because of the governor it’s limited.i have spoken to veterans of the abrams that removed the governor and they went 60mph, granted they were base M1A1s and M1A2S

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the M830A1 round for the Abrams or the fact that the multi-function HE-I round for the T-90 was hardly it ever used (like you said in your reaction to Laserpig’s video on the T-14 Armata). As an ex tanker T90 is better by far. Just like my good friend in the air force said the SU is wayyyy better than the F16 and and other F class.

Considering Russia is on schedule to produce 1,300 T-90M’s this year alone, I’m sure they’ll be very effective. I genuinely thought Russia would never have the capability to produce as many tanks as they have. They produced nearly 1,000 T-72B3M’s last year, despite the sanctions.

to get any better you need to change design.

you can change t72 into pt90 and you get something very similar. t90 can use better piercing ammunition.

not absolutely you are wrong. Non of you know how good is armor in Abrams.
USA are very good in armor production and ammunition. Russian not so good. For example Russian just buy mass ceramic production technology for German (around 2015) and they use that for armor.
If some one think there is something to compare in Abrams to t90 he simple do not know what he speak.

Poland have pt90 and is general tank very similar to t90. But still still Abrams is the best tank in world.

when you start to make changes you end with Abrams, t14. USA have working prototype of non turret tank in 85-90. That was working unit in test.

Russia is not a superpower, it has not fully recovered from the collapse of the Soviet Union. The bullshit that happened in Chechnya and Georgia and now Ukraine has demonstrated the country is totally still in shambles and needs more time, and better government, to properly reorganize itself.

So the T90 is better until it actually gets to the battlefield and it turns out it's just a T72 with a new coat of paint.
