Ответитьsounds cool but also scary to get lost in a new country!
ОтветитьGreat info!!!! Wow
ОтветитьI’m gonna do it. I just traveled to London, Paris, and Italy in 10 days. Next time will be at least 2 months.
Ответить$2500 per month is cheaper than I expected
ОтветитьOmg ty so much for this video. My son and I are going to europe for his graduation present, and I'm probably going to come back earlier than he is. This really really helps out a lot, so ty for this detailed information.

ОтветитьSorry to p-ss on your cornflakes but Americans will never experience Europe outside of tourist traps. The only time you'll find yourself in our social circles is if some chump is dating you. Even then the people you meet will be under the sufferance of your nasal tone, muggy moralising and crude boasting, and thus...they won't really try with you. Stay on the other side of the pond, or you'll just end up feeling insecure.
Ответить2500 A MONTH!? I went backpacking in Germany for 2 weeks and spent a total of 300. Now, I must say, I was very aware of the money that I was spending, and didn't go on excursions or anything, but I had a blast! Just thinking about having 600/week when backpacking makes me jealous.
Hmm, maybe I should mention that I'm a student and my whole life consists of living on a budget :)

ОтветитьDo europe hostel/hotel ask for credit cards for incidentals?
ОтветитьAny advice for language barriers? Will I've to use Google translate for the entire trip?
ОтветитьDoes Europe have Uber and Lyft? Is it the same app or do I need to download a different app for europe?
ОтветитьThis is really helpful! I'm going so soon and this just adds trust into my plan. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks so much for this. Some invaluable info that most people don't go so in-depth with. I just quit my teaching job of 8 years today and I've got 2 months until I start my backpacking trip. Wish me luck..! :D
ОтветитьFamily of three going to Scotland in England in July is going to be $10,000 for two weeks. That doesn’t include the train ticket and Rent-A-Car. For Airbnb’s and one hotel.
ОтветитьLoved most of the tips, except the “are you just checking these boxes off” some of us can’t work remote and with limited time off, enjoying as many different cultures and countries as you can is an ideal approach !
Ответитьsuper helpful! thanks for such a good video
Ответитьthis was so insanely helpful, thank you
ОтветитьThis was an incredibly and informative video, thank you so much for making this! Saving all of this information for my trip planning
ОтветитьWhen I travel to Thailand I usually rent I place for an entire month. If I want to go from city to city should I book All the accommodations before leaving home or book the first place and wing it from there?

ОтветитьAny credit cards that I can apply from the UK?
ОтветитьThinking about getting the same bag. Did the bag come with zipper locks or did you have to get your own locks for the zippers?
ОтветитьWhat about for seat reservations with the Eurail pass? Approximately how much was it each time? Did you have to book one all the time?
ОтветитьWhat would you say to someone who thinks they can book only the first 3 days of hostels for when they first arrive so they can be flexible and decide where they want to go and how long they want to stay in the spur of the moment?
As a first time traveler, I worry everything close to city centers will be booked up or overpriced. I'm planning on a May-July trip.
I’m lucky to be living long term in Germany, so I’ve been traveling around Europe the last few years and I still found every word so useful. Thank you😊
Ответитьgraduating in ‘25! this video really put everything into perspective and i feel like i can do it, thank you!!!
ОтветитьIm a 70 year old woman, from Canada. In late April, early May I plan to start my backpacking trip to europe so this was helpful. thank you. I've done short 2 week trips to the UK 5 times in 10 years, staying at hostels. This will be a longer and farther version of that. Typically I schedule every hour lol, primarily to pre-book and pay for everything so I can control the exchange rate. I've vowed to do this trip truly with no prior real plan, just a general route. from merrakesh through spain to italy, northern europe, then over to the UK for a while. the excitement is building. Im retired so I can take as long as I want lol.
ОтветитьAwesome vid! I was recently in France and I actually also have Verizon. I just went to FNAC (there is a location by Champs Elysees) and got a SIM and it worked perfectly fine with my phone. I have an iphone 13. So i'm not sure if that makes a difference or not since I know now there is like "eSIM" versus the actual physical SIM card. But the plan I got was $30 for the whole month, 5G all over France and 4G in the rest of the EU!
