Easiest water connection is with shark bite fittings
ОтветитьVery good video except the music is very lowed and when your are talking is very quiet, it should be other way round other wise excellent, very helpful thanks.
ОтветитьCan you use plastic pipe? TIA
ОтветитьBuilding a salon next to our house for my partner, and thinking of using the 30 litre one for the wash hair basin, fitted loads of these but never actually used them so don’t know how practical they are. Do you think the 30 litre one would be suitable or am I better off using an instant hot water one? Good install by the way
ОтветитьMash’Allah very informative video. What do you put the overflow from the tundish into? Is it like into the existing 32mm waste for the basin? Or do you run the copper all the way out of the building?
ОтветитьSalam brother why u didn't use a combination valve ..it would have been easier
ОтветитьMy pipe makes water pressure noise when water turns on what is the cause?
ОтветитьThanks good vid. Voice too quiet music way too loud blew my ears off. cheers
ОтветитьWhy didn't you use the dielectric fittings supplied as per instructions ? Otherwise real neat job as per instructions.
ОтветитьThese heaters are crap fitted less than 3 years leaks like a sieve
ОтветитьYou’re meant to put the dielectric fittings on, to stop electrolysis, NOT so you can put flexi tap connections on them 😂😂😂. The 1/2” female copper to irons can still connect onto the dielectric fittings. 🤯
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts about fitting these at lower levels? We have one fitted under a counter at our house which has worked fine for years but when I asked Ariston they said they couldn’t honour a warrantee if I fitted a new one under a kitchen counter. Do you know if there is a physical reason why it can’t be done if there is enough room. Any comments appreciated, thanks 👍🏼😊
ОтветитьThanks for that also want to get into boiler repair any advice what steps to take.
ОтветитьHi im moving into a shop wich has no central heating. If i get one of these can it be used for kitchen and a hair backwash and 1 more sink? Or do i need a seperate one? Also how kong do these take to guve hot water x
ОтветитьShow picture of how too wire you helm
ОтветитьGood Job thanks for that video.
ОтветитьReally useful stuff I like the music!
ОтветитьWould one of these be able to cope with a shower or a bath? Or would you need to a system with a cylinder?
ОтветитьBro, i just had a 15l undersink heater installed. Does it require a expansion vessel? My plumber installed without one :(
ОтветитьNicely done video👍
ОтветитьCan it be used to feed a shower ?
ОтветитьHi, I have got the same one, it keeps overflowing all the time, what do you think the problem is? Thanks
ОтветитьCan I use one of the water heaters for a shower
ОтветитьFab video... literally the best guide for these heaters on the internet. Newbie question, how do you drain down? Thanks
ОтветитьNeat work, but your meant to use those plastic fittings as they’re dielectric fittings to stop electrolysis. 😉
ОтветитьSalam brother I am new in this game. I just got my G3. How much you would charge for this installation
ОтветитьHi, I have one of these heaters that’s lost it’s power for some time, I’ve just had the power reinstated but the water is not getting hot? Is there a reset or something that must be done?
ОтветитьAbsolutely AMAZING CONTENT!!! KEEP IT UP SAVING US ALL A LOT IN THESE TESTING TIMES AS WELL AS GAINING BASIC KNOWLEDGE
ОтветитьDidn’t look very big does it conform to BS ? Unlike that qooker tap for your kitchen you can get . Nice vid tho
ОтветитьSo if I fit a 10 litre one I don't need the other bits that you buy separately, great video
ОтветитьBefore i start, no offence i watch many of your videos and i think you are great, but 1,did vessel not come with fixing kit?if it fails,is it not gonna be too heavy with it dangling in the air like that? 2,im sure you have to use the plastic fittings(dielectric junctions) otherwise u’ll invalidate the warranty, apparently its to prevent electrolytic corrosion. 3,in the diagram,it is a draw off point, not a drain off point, sure u know that, u probably just said it wrong. Again. Please dont take offence, please correct me if im wrong, you put up great vids i have learned lots from you 👍
ОтветитьI've been doing some research. I don't think you handled the pressure relief plumbing correctly... love to hear your comments. I think the PRV should drain through a visible air gap for two reasons: 1) if there is a leak to the valve (apparently pretty common), you'd like a way to see this. 2) prevent bacteria from backing up into potable water supply.
ОтветитьThank you for your helpful installation video for this heater. I intend fitting the smaller 10 litre under sink model in my son's new flat which does not have gas and therefore all electric. I know that these Ariston water heaters have a sacraficial anode to help prevent the tank corroding. I believe the anode has to be checked annually and replaced if necessary. I have read that if not serviced regularly the tanks can corrode rendering the whole unit useless.
ОтветитьDoes it work with speed fit?
ОтветитьGood job bro
ОтветитьCan i fit this in the bathroom?
ОтветитьNice vid brother. Like the way you even address the social keyboard naysayers who like to nitpick on even the smallest insignificant issues like your using the wrong brush to flux etc...
This is real life everyday situations and you do it brilliantly. Your an engineer who to enjoys his chosen profession and has the grace and humility to pass on the greatest gift as a human being.... Knowledge...
Keep up the good work bro and thanks for sharing.
So I bought one yesterday. After installation the water is only getting luke warm, any advice?
ОтветитьWell done 👍 nice job 👌
ОтветитьDo the pipes have to be soldered or are compression fittings OK to use. Soldering is a much tidier job I know but I'm just curious
ОтветитьVery nice video and clean job please do a video about installation of unvented cylinder
ОтветитьWonderful workmanship and skills
ОтветитьVery helpful thanks for your help 🙏👍
ОтветитьThanks for your video ! Can I ask if I need to fit one of these 10L under kitchen sink- next to mecerator pump for waste, can discharge pipe be connected to the waste pump ? Thanks
ОтветитьMany thanks it’s always nice to learn something new got one fitted at my training centre
ОтветитьGood installation - but the nylon unions you didn't use are not for tap connectors, they are DIELECTRIC unions and are to stop corrosion within the unit. Without having them installed the warranty is void. I'm not knocking the video in anyway, it's just I've installed 100's of these units and have dealt with ariston directly.👍
ОтветитьVery helpful, first time on you tube, 👍
ОтветитьNice install. What fitting did you use to connect the copper discharge pipe to the plastic waste pipe?
ОтветитьGood job
As well as good tune
great video mate. I think pressure reducing valve should be after water meter .
correct me if I am wrong please. thanks for great videos .
