I thought I had speech impediment cause I stutter sometimes but when I watched this vid I realize I don't have it

I interviewed a girl who stuttered. I stopped and I thought she was just nervous. Told her its ok, would u like some water, let's just talk like we are friends. Poor thing couldn't answer the questions. Her answers were 5 minutes but 5 words or less. Its crazy because she only severely stutters only upon being interviewed. When we were just conversing talking about the weather and how was her drive here she didn't stutter not one bit. When I was younger i too had a speech impediment I also could not understand ppl when they were talking. The sounds were so foreign for some reason. Over the years I got use to talking to customers at work, presentations, more interviews and now ppl are shocked when I tell them I have a speech impediment.

As a singer who has appeared on America's Got Talent, she certainly has a lot of talent and deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication to her craft.

I shared this to my Facebook page, telling my FB friends, that if this did not move them, they need to make an appointment with the doctor because they are heartless.

Amanda is amazing. The courage it took for her to get up on stage expose herself and all of her phone number all day is Inspiring, especially since it was an original piece. I can’t help but wonder how much of her struggles Ruth new to her parents.

Should I got the golden buzzer to be able to get up there on stage with a speech impediment, and have the courage to stand up there and answer questions and then sing beautifully like that definitely should’ve got the golden buzzer in my opinion

Bless her heart. I am happy for her success. Someone sent me this video because I too suffer from a speech impediment but and sing solos with my choir, but I do not stutter when I sing. I have not researched why, but I do know it has something to do with the rhythm of the melody, fast or slow, same as when I talk while I am walking. Music and the Grace of God is what keeps me going. I am praying and believing that one day my speech will become fluent and I will stutter no more.🙏🏾
