ОтветитьHi There does this have a TPM chip for Windows 11 ?
ОтветитьI work as a computer refurbishing tech that works on a LOT of these Elitebooks. Besides the keyboard being a full tear down, these things are nice to work on. Don't have many issues as long as they weren't abused/dropped or had the keyboards destroyed. I really like the glass touchpads on them. They'll never wear out and rarely break. We just had our first few broken touchpads show up in over a year. The sound on them is very stout for a laptop like this. way better than what dell and lenovo offer.
Ответитьi just replaced my old gaming laptop with one of these with a 4500u a 13inch screen
ОтветитьLearning that AMD isn’t as plug and play as Intel.
I bought a HPG7 for personal use to mimic my HPG8 work laptop and dual monitor setup through 1 plug. But not able to use Thunderbolt USBC for keyboard, mouse and dual monitors like my work laptop.
Recommendations from the manufacturer to order a different dual monitor adapter, we’ll see if it works.
Disappointed so far for a simple task that apparently Intell can handle.
Gonna buy the elite book
ОтветитьHP laptop is good but not so reliable. Overheating issues are possible; while this isn’t a concern with every HP laptop model, some of them can overheat during use. In addition, HP’s customer service is not as good as Dell’s. Try Lenovo.
ОтветитьWhen I was in high school, our school invested in getting every student their own device. What they picked was the HP Pro X2 612 G1. It was the cheapest model with a celeron, 4GB ram and 128GB ssd, and a 1366x768 panel.
Even with that said, in my opinion, the features it had made it one of the most invaluable choices for a student machine. It was a laptop when you needed it, with a keyboard and touchpad blah blah, but it could split off into a tablet with a wacom digitizer screen and stylus. You could still use your fingers, but when you wanted to do artsy things or do math homework digitally where handwriting is really important, it was an excellent replacement for pencil and paper because the stylus was precise, and using it meant that you could have your hands on it like a piece of paper and only the stylus would be input.
There were a couple things that it could have done better, namely the keyboard situation. It was something you had to detach, and then you had to find somewhere to put it with its exposed connector poking out.
I believe that a device like the hp probook x360 would be the perfect device for a student, fully replacing textbooks and worksheets.

-security screen mode is actually super useful if you use your laptop in public often. one of my favorite features.
-great nub and clickies! but then my clicky mouse broke. the touchpad isnt good enough to make up for it.
-one of my usb cs has never worked
overall if anyone in this comment section wanted a laptop in this range, idk if i would get this one at its price, but i really like it.
你好。Linus Tech Tips
Hi. Linus Tech Tips
I have a question to ask.
I recently wanted to buy a mobile workstation. Mainly work for video editing. The software used was Davinci Resolve, and I used it for editing and color correction. There is a need for a Thunderbolt interface.
I fell in love with the HP Zbook G9 series.
But I don't know how the HP Zbook G9 actually works.
For example, if the timeline is set to UHD 3840 X 2160 when encoding and decoding H.265 50/60FPS, will there be lag? Whether the video material of the codec RED will drop frames or have a low frame rate.
I've been struggling recently with which mobile workstation to buy. Because I don't really like apples. Want to buy Windows series workstation products.
So come and ask.
grateful.
Approved if it can play mc with online classes and one tab of chrome

ОтветитьHaving opened a laptop with that elitebook style chassis and one of the ProBook 445 G style, I found them to be totally different experiences with the ProBook requiring so many more steps, often unclear to access certain components for trivial maintenance, (most notably the CPU for thermal paste application). Still totally manageable in competent and experienced hands but doesn't have the same user friendly feel as others, so I was disappointed not to see LInus open it up, although I can see why considering how consistent HP is with many design elements.
ОтветитьI’m glad I bought myself an HP probook 440g7 ryzen 4500u. I’m hoping it comes with dual channel ram because I ordered mine with 16gb ddr4. Seems like a solid laptop lineup.
ОтветитьNo pavilion series 😥
ОтветитьI have a Probook x360 G8 with a Ryzen 7 5850u.. now this thing is sick. Did I mention it also is running linux? Everything works out of box and snappy fast. Beautiful screen too and excellent battery life. The only thing that would make this thing better if HP used their new slat logo instead of the round one. Small complaints here and there but I essentially got a Dev one without the dev one price because I bought it slightly used. Don't you just love university students?!
Ответитьi got a 15.6 inch hp laptop with r5 5500u vega 7
so much better than my old idk gen i5 with intel worst integrated graphics which was many years old
TN display had 74% of srgb in my old hp notebook. The new hp one with IPS display offers only 68%.
Notebook displays are always the cheapest shit.
Hp: Names all four laptops differently
The average user: But they all look the same

ОтветитьI just bought the HP 15S with Ryzen 5 5500U processor. I just love this laptop more for work and light video editing. I also love the way that it has 2 RAM slot instead of one of them being soldered and I also added additional 8GB of RAM. Feels pretty snappy tho.
ОтветитьGot my Pavillion 15 with a Ryzen 5500U, 16gb memory and 512gb ssd.
Its probably one of the best notebooks you can get for the 699$ I paid:
-It can be repaired or upgraded with just undoing 6 screws.
-The memory is a 2x8 3200mhz Kit running in proper dual channel mode. Ive seen many other Notebooks with really weird configurations like 8gb soldered in and an additonal 8gb installed in a sodimm slot. Also others seem to use inferior memory kits running at only 2400 or 2666 mhz. Im not paying well over 500$ for a notebook to be cucked with bottom of the barrel memory.
-The SSD is a standard M.2 NVME drive so it can be replaced easily. And its quick for an OEM Drive: Mine measured 1750 MB/s write and 1150 read.
-Build quality is better than expected. The entire case is made from satin finish aluminium, except for the bottom cover. That surprised me, I expected more plastic. I unironically like the design and the feel more than the M1 macbook air.
-The screen is really good for being a basic 1080p LED-IPS Panel.
-The USB-C Port can transfer at 10gbit, others are limited to 5gbit. Also you can charge the laptop via USB C. Ive tested that briefly with somebody elses USB C charger since the laptop comes with a standard barrel jack power supply.
Overall this thing is an amazing package if you can find it for around 600-700$.
I was so tempted to just get the cheapest M1 Macbook Air instead of a Windows Machine. That would have cost me 999$ but I looked at it and yeah the M1 CPU and the flawless MacOS experience are really the only reasons to buy one of those. Everything else on these is a joke:
Unuseable keyboard, screen barely any bigger than my phone, very flimsy and zero repairability or upgradeability.
Literally a soldered in not uprgadeable 256gb ssd is all Apple gives you. For one thousand dollars. What a joke...
And I cant even plug a USB Stick into one of those because Apple decided your USB Type A devices should all end up on an e-waste landfill immediately. I lovew USB C but I need USB A too.
Also HPs windows install is not as bad as it could be. The bloat is minimal and doesnt affect performace at all. I will still install my own customized win10 ISO on this laptop but I am surprised how useable this thing is right out of the box. Once I nuke HPs windows install might aswell just install an Arch Distro like Garuda Linux.
HP Laptops are just bad. I have one next to me that it makes so much
noise that it is embarrassing even to take it out, the USB and the
Wireless are not stable. After the guarantee was expired and I opened
it, I found that the PCB were not screwed on the body. Especially in the
low end models that you recommend I am sure that the things are really
bad.
This good thing about what I write is that you can ask for a raise in what HP is paying you for the things that they sell.
To whoever designed the casing for Elitebook 845, I literally cut myself with the sharp corners so really good job guys...
