I don't understand what it means that I have $111,272.58 account value but I have a total value of $192,090.37 with a negative -$80,845.20 cash. Then it says I have $15,213.69 buying power. Makes no sense.

I totally agreed with you. Learning from your mistakes is the best way to strengthen your skills. Nine years ago when I started trading in forex I lost my two accounts in a few months but then I started learning. Now with my personal Account I am also using a $250k account of tradethepool for stocks trading.

Trade the pool has a trading software with an excellent demo, it can also help a beginner trader with opening a new account, they set up trading accounts, I didn't have it at the beginning and I had a lot of difficulty

I love the video and I think it's very helpful to a lot of beginner traders. My only question is, does the thinkorswim simulator act realistically? For example sometimes you're not always going to get filled or you'll get a really bad fill when you buy at the market. Do these things happen in the simulator? Investopedia didn't work for me. It was always glitchy and laggy. In addition, I don't think that you should practice with a ridiculous amount of money for a fake account because then you won't take it seriously. I say either start with a negative balance or what you would use if it was real life

i downloaded 3 trading simulators and could not get a single one to work, 2 of them im stuck on account setup cause im not in the US or from NA

Today you can do real trading with $1 because you can buy fractions of the stocks and increase to $10 total or more while progressing. Besides, simulators do not train to control your emotions.
