I feel you I really can't stand dogs now considering my roomies got a puppy and it constantly attacks me on the off chance I come out of my room
Ответить"A good Velma is a great Velma, but a bad Velma is a BAD Velma."
Wow, prophetic!
His ideal version of Velma just sounds like the Doctor from Doctor Who to me lol
ОтветитьI love this take on Velma cause it’s literally Hatsume from MHA and her character is criminally underrated and devoid of screen time😂
Ответитьwhy'd you have the collar around your wrist. we could've had a lot of fun
Ответить*mystery ingorperated
ОтветитьI suspect that Jello has written his fair share of fanfic on AO3 given the amount of time he has spent thinking about Mystery Incorporated.
ОтветитьYou literally look like shaggy
ОтветитьRewatching this video and I realized I never thanked you for reccomending Mystery Inc. Thanks, I loved it.
ОтветитьI love Isaac and miria
ОтветитьI can't wait for the tiny clip of this video with fetish Daphne to be assimilated for the compilation 🌙
Ответитьi like how you can tell which bits were re-recorded :)
Ответитьi want the catchphrase bit at the end as a clip
Ответить(GASP) A NEW WORM!
"WORM!""WORM!""WORM!" -Jello
I think one of my favorite takes on the Scooby Gang is actually in the Supernatural crossover episode, funny enough... Seeing the characters slowly break down as they come to terms with actual monsters is so good, especially the way the writers turn their characteristics (ie, Velma being a nerd or Fred liking traps) into them spiraling, which is actually showcased the best with Fred, where he starts out with his normal booby traps but as he learns more and more from Sam and Dean, he ends up spiraling down a rabbit hole of more and more complex traps involving the Supernatural show's gimmicks until he's just completely lost it, because nothing is working like he expects
ОтветитьHonestly, best Velma is Valery from Venture Bros. Because that's an honest portrayal of a character who's so full of themselves that they make life harder for everyone around them.
Also, your "pincushion relationship" comment is interesting. Especially considering how accurate to reality it is. (around 35 minutes in for those who want to know what I'm talking about)
Just take Velma and do the absolute opposite
ОтветитьWeird date but pretty pog
ОтветитьI loved Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. Had me on the edge of my seat, loved it.
ОтветитьHe's big and soft and friendly and she's petite and could kill you.
Their a pincushion couple, He's the cushion snd she's the pin.
Love this quote.
The most annoying thing about Velma to me is that she is like... SCATHINGLY skeptical. It is so easy to have a skeptical character without making them an absolute ass, if you anchor that skepticism into something that makes the character still engage with what's happening wholeheartedly. Skepticism that is fueled by intrigue and curiosity about how something might work and the thrill of having a chance to figure out can bring the whimsy and the vibe that needs without taking the magic out of the mystery, and I think it could open the door to a really funny quirk that a good Velma could have as Her Thing: Illusion Enthusiast Velma. The kind of Velma that can info-dump about smoke-and mirrors and how they actually work, or who feels like its Christmas morning when they figure out one of the tricks behind the ghoul of the week. She's convinced its probably not a ghost, but she cannot WAIT to compare notes with them.
Ответитьhey Fred, it's me again
ОтветитьLinda Cardellini played Marcie, Velma’s love interest, who played Velma in the live action movies. At least the ones that were released in theatres.
ОтветитьAs far as Velma’s sexuality. I just want Bi Velma. It makes all of it work canonically. Also it means she tends to like her girls smart and her boys dumb as bricks and I find that hilarious
ОтветитьI love the fact that the described "perfect" Velma is basically just Entrapta from She-Ra 2020, like the similarities are definately there just based on the concepts raised
Ответить“A bad Velma is a BAD Velma.”
Oh man…
Oh, man…
træsure
Ответитьthis did not age well
Ответитьid genuinely love to swee a version of these archatypes that does each individual justice. not into the new velma. fuck that this is peak.
ОтветитьI’ve actually been conceptualizing my own Scooby show for a while now, and a lot of what I came up with matches what he said. My series is a sequel to mystery incorporated, and starts with the gang split up after simply getting tired of solving mysteries and wanting to do something else for a while. Shaggy goes on to be a cook at a restaurant that his parents help him fund, Velma teaches paranormal studies at a university, Daphne has gone on to rejoin the Hex Girls, and Fred has gone with her and become their stage manager, while also still making traps as a side business.
Ответить"His hollow head is filled with naught but sunshine"
Ответитьbut i do remeber flim flam 😢
ОтветитьI wonder how Jello feels about the Velma show
ОтветитьSo much is said by that opening “hello”. It’s like several emotions all at once
ОтветитьThis has some serious BDG unraveled energy, and I'm here for it. Its now your job to fill the hole in my heart that he left
ОтветитьI will say though, no one that's a good person would force their partner to choose between their partner or their dog. Dog is gonna win every time.
ОтветитьLol I can only jello’s version of Velma with pink tails 🙃
ОтветитьZoinks
ОтветитьI can't believe Shaggy himself made this video deciding to praise Fred
Ответитьno, it isnt. fuck fred. scoobys a talking dog, so hes the best.
