Get a room.
ОтветитьFantastic stuff, as always, Ryan!! Lost on many riders is the idea that their side-by-side high beam lights can easily be perceived as a car in a distance. It's all the more reason that we, as riders, need to be extremely vigilant and watchful, and we need to be constantly honing our road skills and road strategy as we ride.
Ответить"A single light is .....unmistakably a motorcycle ". Not in Africa I'm afraid. A single light can be anything from an 18 wheeler to an agricultural implement. Usually one is grateful for the single light. It's the ones with no lights at all that are scary.
Ответитьyou're signaling incorrectly. its two fingers down. it looks nothing like a turn signal.
ОтветитьValuable information delivered with humour.
ОтветитьCar driver here, joining the others, I distinctly remember making the 2 headlights-perspective mistake while making a left turn. Wasn't close but still unsettling to not see the expected vehicle, with the expected distance, in my mirror
ОтветитьIn the UK , because we drive on the correct side of the road (yes.....feel free to roast me on that) but because waving would make us take our hands off the throttle we simply nod our heads to say hi at other bikers 😁
ОтветитьWhat is that bike?
ОтветитьWtf dude- u must open a motorcycle university— awesome not just this one- almost all of your videos
Ответитьtravel with up two riding are safer for rear slows down)) and better road wheel contact)) but...
she/he must be a very good number by response for turns
“Single headlight is unmistakably a motorcycle” yeahh not always. One time I was driving late with my brother. it was pitch black and in the distance we see a single headlight we assume motorcycle, but no. It was in fact an 18 wheeler with no lights on other than a single headlight 😂
Ответитьi love this vid
ОтветитьGot it. No lights, fast cornering, never wave.
Ответитьthe mistake i always make is let people use my motorcycle to learn to ride. i just want to get everyone into motorcycles but my bike ends up paying the price
Ответить😂👍🤣 AWESOME VID SON....so as an old guy riding 45 years dirt, street etc erah rah ....my 2 beer 2 fatties and a half gram of mushrooms entering the HIGHLIGHT zone, where men eat bugs speed limits are irrelvant would NOT be recommended....meh become one with your bike feel the road feel that need for speed n weed EH 🤣😉🍺🍄🔥
ОтветитьI go for the head nod
ОтветитьIn Australia we just nod
ОтветитьI just don't wave. I seriously doubt that I will like the person on the bike any more than I like the person in the car, and I never wave at cars either.
ОтветитьIs no one gonna talk about how good of a twilight zone parody this video was
ОтветитьYou forgot the worst mistake a rider can make.
Buying a Harley
The wave thing isn't an issue for those of us who ride on the correct (left) side of the road.
ОтветитьMy 3 month old loves your videos
ОтветитьThe proper Motorcycle Salute is the two finger “V” with the left arm down by your side, at an angle of maybe 5˚ or so. No way does that look like a left turn signal.
ОтветитьLeft foot low wave.
ОтветитьSorry but this video ain't it!
ОтветитьI love the detail that goes into your videos keep uo the hard work your videos are very amusing and very knowledgeable to watch for motorcyclist
ОтветитьI grab my belt and wave like Forrest Gump.
Ответить🙋🏻♂️🗿
ОтветитьWell done. Imaginative.
ОтветитьAwesome Video!!!!
Ответить....a car with only one headlight.....😣😣
ОтветитьI watch too much fortnine....but love the videos, keep it up 👍❤️
ОтветитьMotorcycles have been approved for flashing light! I use a white strobe front and a red strobe rear. I even show well in fog and rain.
Ответитьi always do a little 2 finger salute towards bikers and i just do it cause i'm goofy, never thought it'd be safer 😂
ОтветитьI have horizontally mounted lights...05 speed triple. The bulbs are H4s - dual filament, so they both always run when the low-beams are on.
I run a high Kelvin bulb on one side, and a yellow fog bulb on the other. The horizontal blue and yellow lights make it easier to recognize it as a motorcycle.
I actually watch this guy for his fine sense of humor 🤣
ОтветитьThe first mistake - ride a motorcycle
ОтветитьEntertaining ! And good tips too. Thanks
ОтветитьBro hasn't aged in 5 years
ОтветитьA nod of the head from motorcycle to motorcycle here in the UK, unless you ride a Harley or a BMW GS where you are then above nodding to lesser mere mortal motorcycle riders
ОтветитьTurn brights off anytime there’s another light or two anywhere
ОтветитьHand at your side barely up two finger down can’t get confused with arm straight out people that doesn’t ride don’t know either of these things anyways.
ОтветитьIn France we don't use the hand signal to tell we're going to stop, go right and so on, we only count on the blinkers and stop light.
ОтветитьDaily stooopid.
1. False dilemma speculation based on passive riding strategy.
2. Again, stupid theoretical out of context false dilemma. Find one time this has actually happened. And if it ever did, it's a statistical outlier and proves nothing.
3. Doesn't understand the physics. A bike may feeeel more stable under braking or acceleration, but this is the result of fictitious forces similar to the notorious "centrifugal force". Yup, feeeling planted is pretty awesome. Love it. But the increase in momentum of the bike that creates that feeling is more danger potential.
The contact patch merely increases in response to the force vector of the pavement resisting the changes in multiple force/momentum vectors. That doesn't make the bike more stable. It makes the bike much more susceptible to negative effects of a rapid change in traction. Essentially, the bike is in a battle with the pavement for dominance. This is a very dynamic state and sudden changes have the greatest effect in that paradigm.
There is a reason we might coast over tar strips, steel grates and flat steel road construction covers.
There's a reason we avoid braking and accelerating when taking a corner full of gravel wash after a rain storm.
In Australia, the throttle is still on the right side but so is our brethren, so we don't salute, we just give a knowing nod which allows us to keep our hands on the handlebars
ОтветитьYour channel is CRAZY MAN
I can binge watch all afternoon, one video after another. Your production values, subject knowledge , and humor keep me engaged. Like cat videos, but productive 😎🇺🇸🤙🏻
