Undertale: [Call of the Void] (ANIMATION SHOWCASE)

To clarify, the animation is cancelled. This is what J-Bug animated before leaving the team. This doesn't mean the project itself will be cancelled. Krillin is currently coding for the Undertale: COTV game! There's also a lot of repeat questions and criticisms so allow me to clarify once again.

This animation uses an older version of the script. Like the beginning of the video, this is not what the final product (game adaptation) will be like. We already understand the problems with the writing and our main writers A2E and Demento have fixed most of the issues.

i dunno if this is still mostly canon, but as cool as this is, sans bringing papyrus back to life to essentially use him as a meat shield is so unlike sans i cannot possibly overlook it. the only reason he does it is so the 8 year old playing says “OMG LOOK ITS SANS AND PAPYRUS”

I just love the fact he finally accepted the use of determination in himself and the fact he utilizes the save star to give himself several chances to fuck over the human, its a great touch

There is a detail in phase 1 that I haven't seen anyone talking about. Sometimes when you check or beg in the ACT menu after GASTER shows up there will be faded letters in the background of the dialogue box behind the normal letters most of the time having GASTER speaking to you. Nice touch.

EDIT : after watching this piece of art again I discovered that only once GASTER speaks in the white dialogue box right before spawning his blaster, again in the background but this time in wingdings. Now I don't know what it says so if someone can translate it I will be very appreciate.

it's gets chilling when you realize that the changes in reality aren't being caused by sans or gaster, but papyrus. papyrus is using his cartoony, reality and physics abilities to throw you off and try to kill you. it really shows you how powerful he is.

Call of the void is the name of an urge to jump from a very high place that disappears almost instantly... It's so common even 100% sane people suffer from it (100% of the humanity) so is the name of this AU a reference to that urge?

What makes me wonder is how will sans ACTUALLY fight in a tight ass place where theres only 1 path

Is it just me, or does Papyrus coming back alive seem sad because just look at Sans when his bother asks what's happening? San's eyes turn dark as he focuses only on the human. Even after Papyrus dies, San's eyes are still cold and serious. good work
