It’s nice to see rayman and phantom again.

Having Rayman in a Mario crossover game makes me see this as a semi-triple crossover, because the Rabbids were part of the Rayman Franchise at first, before they became their own franchise. Like, having three franchises together.

It's great to see Rayman and the Rabbids reunite after a decade and a half.

Some might say this is goodbye for the mario+rabbids series
But i like to think of it as

I'm glad to see Rayman back after many years.

Ubisoft acknowledging everything the community has said for the past few years just leaves me at a loss of words

I don’t blame Rayman for being so mad. Being told you’re playing second fiddle to the rabbids is incredibly insulting

After all these years, Rayman finally mended fences with the rabbids

Rayman is officially a part of the Mario universe along with his rabbid pals

If this finally gives Rayman a bright future, the ending cutscene will make me smile even more.

Can you blame Rayman here? This is his BIG comeback after being left behind and overshadowed by the Rabbids for over a DECADE at this point, he FINALLY can be in the spotlight for the first time in a long time, and THIS is what he has to deal with? An overweight, opera singing Rabbid just rubbing all that salt on Rayman’s gaping wound on how the Rabbids essentially became the face of Ubisoft while Rayman was left in the dust all these years?! Yeah all that hate we saw Rayman showing during the Phantom’s song was COMPLETELY justified.

Im so happy Rayman is back. Even in this little DLC. It makes my heart happy, and him getting roasted in song was amazingly painful but true xD

How on earth did you skip the 4th story mode area (the Wrestling Show) completely and get the “meet me at the elevator” cutscene?? You’re only supposed to get that after completing all 4 main story areas.

So I beat the Rayman DLC today 100% and sadly i don’t have much positive to say, Rayman’s moveset and lack of customizability just drag him down beyond belief, the abilities he had would’ve worked better as sparks. He would’ve been better had he had access to sparks, the main mechanic of the game. His abilities were all too op as well, I’d use his vortex to bring people close and get rid of their medician shields, then have Rabbid Mario and his clone take them all out. It was just plain boring. The map design, the boss, everything. And to compare it to the DK dlc from Kingdom Battle is like night and day, in the DK dlc, yes you had the same limited party, but said party has unique weapons with semi customizable super effects. DK had a much better version of the flutter rings mechanic with his dandelion jump, the map and boss designs were also just superior in every way, the shark brothers being opposites of each other with Sideye running away after each hit adding a bit of strategy as to how you have to position your units. Finn being a more powerful smasher doesn’t work in it’s benefit but it’s more than just “Kill x amount of enemies” or “Do this, THEN you can hit the boss” which is why I hate the phantom fights. But at least the map and enemy designs were varied and FUN in kingdom battle. The final boss of Rayman didn’t feel cinematic but just plain artificial. Super Rabbid Kong with the sunset in the background, the music design, the fact that his gimmick required multitasking to get the highest rank that was in a way where it wasn’t annoying it was just plain awesome and fun. The map design part is also a huge factor of why I live DK dlc and dislike Rayman. The maps having unique gimmicks like the fountains, or ink coconuts. They had actual effects on the battle. Pushing your units around, preventing you from attacking, this gets you to actually think about how you could possibly lure enemies into them. And on the topic of enemies, they were just better designed, this whole game has the problem of just 5 enemy models that aren’t just bowser’s minions. Squahers, Stooges, Wildclaw, scopers, and those stupid ghost bastards. In kingdom battle you had every enemy having a unique model, and mini bosses weren’t just “here’s an enemy but BIG” I just overall don’t like the Rayman dlc. It’s the problems I have with the base game but worse because you don’t have the variety of strategies to replay stuff with.

At this point even Nintendo loves Rayman more then Ubisoft... Man I wish somebody competent could buy the rights to Rayman and finally make a worthy 4th part in 3d... Even remake/remaster of 2nd and 3rd part in this style could be awesome.

I cried with the ending, years with Rayman fighting the Rabbids and today, Co-op with two of them and saying goodbye in a heartwarming hug 🥲😊

Honestly, as a huge Rayman fan this makes me pretty sad. The character redesign and animations are so incredible. It’s disheartening to know Ubisoft is too stupid to capitalize on it and give us a great new Rayman game.

Worst rayman apperance in any of his games. We got absolute dogshit dlc that never should be named rayman dlc, you could literally put sonic at his place and it could change nothing. We will never get 4, just some garbage dlc in slighty bad game or new trash mobile game

I love it so much but it's sad that phantom it's only character being shown of all other bosses from previous game and it's also sad his only boss here and before you say anything no kraken and one of enemies but bigger are not bosses
