no. they spawn in witch 2 in one witch hut, only one time, often they have allready despawned

you can not make a witch farm, they only spawn one time, when the structure spawns

She (witch) is quite interesting... Since one snapshot they spawn not only in witch huts, but in other dark areas. Also, if she dies whilst drinking a potion, that potion will drop. I think it would be very convient to use a Power V (requires anvil) bow

They can also drop potions of healing, or perhaps I just got lucky and killed one while it was in the middle of holding a potion of healing to use on itself.

witches as of 1.7 can spawn anywhere in the overworld now

They can drop Splash versions of healing and fire resis potions as well.

They can also drink speed potions, and drop fermented spider eyes

ender dragon can regenerate health

I've never actually seen a witch or a witch hut

So are witches currently only on pc? I've got minecraft on ps3 and have never seen one yet.

My /first/ minecraft world, I ran up to one thinking it was a villager. /Boy/ was I wrong..

I'm afraid not. The common Zombie can drop any of the following things:
1: Rotten Flesh
2: Carrot
3: Potato
4: Iron Ingot
5: Iron Sword
6: Iron Shovel
7-10: Iron armour piece
11-14: Gold armour piece
15-18: Chain armour piece
19-22: Leather armour piece

These 22 items compare to the 9 of the witch (glass bottle, glowstone dust, gunpowder, redstone dust, spider eye, stick, sugar, fire resist potion, health potion). Sorry!

Witches can drop a potion if they are drinking it when you kill them. This is similar to an enderman dropping the block they are holding upon death. This means you can get fire resistance potions, water breathing potions, and healing potions easily.
