In Korea, the real name that is fake and false is Kim Myung-shin, and there is a evil woman who changed her name to Kim Gun-hee after getting face surgery.
Those blinded by power and money, along with Kim Gun-hee, bullied Lee Jae-myung fighting against corruption, protected the criminal who tried to assassinate him, and captured innocent college students.
The people are angry,
They are being forcibly raided by the prosecutors and police they coordinate,
There are also many people who kill themselves.
This movie reminded me of Kim Gun-hee, his followers, and President Yoon Suk Yeol.
I hope their end is miserable.
It's grim and sad.

The full, 15-min version starts out revealing that the main character is deaf, which explains why he's unaffected by the siren's call. Definitely my favorite from season 3.

Listen, I don’t know wtf I just watched but I LOVED IT..

I wonder if this is a timeless reimagining of a tale of love and greed and not specifically about the conquistadors. Most of the men are depicted in a maximilian/fluted style of armour, which is not something a conquistador would have worn (if I'm wrong please tell me!).

To my limited knowledge the armour in this actually looks great and pretty realistic, meaning someone involved in this knows what to look for and that it can't just be an oversight - instead it seems like an intentional choice by the director(s)? Obviously there's some fantastical elements in there, but coupled with the fact that the man in golden armour is wearing something which looks much closer to what the spaniards would have used it feels like they knew the difference?

I dunno maybe I'm just nerding out, love it either way.

탐욕을 부리는 사람과, 탐욕의 대상이 되는 사람의 관계를 잘 비유한 작품이라고 생각합니다. 탐욕의 종류는 성적인 것으로 해석해볼 수도 있고, 돈이나 권력으로 해석해봐도 좋을 것 같습니다.

I believe that this is all about LOVE. She wanted just to be loved. She was curious when that deaf soldier won't come to her, and she believes that he is the one who can love her. That is why she was crying when she was calling him to the lake (to death) in the end, after he traited her.
