packing my entire life… | moving abroad ep.2

Im in the same situation and im so stressed & overwhelmed and idk how to fit everything in the two bags, the first bag is already full & the 2nd one is almost full and i have so much more that i need to take with me and i don’t know what to do

Girl you should have let the space saver vacuum suck more air out until it’s very thin LOL I carry bedding and winter clothes for a family of 10 and I let it suck all the air out of the space savers bags until the bags are hard as rocks. LOL

im gonna have to move countries with my fam and cause we have a dog it will be problematic. me and my family 100% wont be staying for a long time in qatar anymore. we have been living here for 4/5 years. we have like 2 options. either australia or canada and im so hoping for canada. i love cold/ foggy and rainy weather and cause i dont live in a country where it snows i hope to live in canada cause of weather. right now its like 37 degrees and its 12:14pm. i dont wanna jinx it tho

Im leaving tomorrow abroad alone for study and carrying one big luggage only but bro everything feels so odd and confusing atm

Girl, I can totally relate to your situation feelings and indecisiveness of packing and emotional stuff. I'm moving countries too and I'm trying to make a plan of how to fit 7 years of my life into like 3 bags. It's so hard o leave anything. Thank you for the vacuum bag idea.

You can always send post boxes to your new address if not everything is fitting 😅 I am planning moving abroad in like 5-8 years, already sorting what to keep and what to get rid of or sale 😁 and always good if you have parents or friends where you can leave some of your stuff

Heeey Raya! I know what it's like to pack a load of stuff really. I just returned home here to PH in Aug 2022 and I had 4 balik-bayan boxes + 3 shipped luggages, and then 3 check-in luggages. It can be really stressful to know what to pack and how to pack them. But now that you're just a few days away to leaving Manila for your next chapter in your life for masters, Good luck! It's sad that you can't bring your binders with your memento and pictures and all your memories so that you have something to look at when you're feeling homesick. But don't forget you can have video calls with your family and friends in PH 😊 and find friends once you've settled yourself down abroad, so that you can have more moments of memories with more friends through time and you probably won't be homesick as much. And if ever you're gonna experience winter abroad, then just don't slip and fall on to hidden icy surfaces that have been covered with snow coz you don't wanna hurt yourself 😅 Anyway, enjoy your next chapter in life Raya!!
