Klöntalersee - snow-covered frozen lake - beautiful mountain landscape - Switzerland, 4K

Today once again it's really nice and sunny. We spontaneously decided to go on
an excursion to the Klöntalersee. We pack our lunch and hot tea in our backpacks.

The Klöntalersee is a mountain lake and is located in the canton of Glarus in Switzerland. Last year we also went up on a hot summer day and enjoyed the fresh air in the mountains. The mountains around the lake and the trees are reflecting and appear as beautiful blazes of colors.

After a long drive we finally arrive. At the first moment we do not recognize the lake. It is frozen and covered with snow. It is only 1 pm and already shady. The landscape almost seems to be black and white and it fascinates us so much.
We take our drive further and stop where the sun is still shining really strong. Wonderful this panorama! Our heart rejoices at this sight. In the freezing cold we sip our soup and drink our tea, we brought from home. My family has to be patient with me, because I want to stop at several places to take nice pictures.

Despite our very warm clothes, the cold is getting noticeable. But it was definitely worth coming to Klöntal, because it looks fantastic.

Klöntalersee - unter Eis und Schnee - wunderschöne Berglandschaft - Januar 2021

Heute ist es wieder einmal richtig schön sonnig. Spontan entscheiden wir uns für einen Ausflug an den Klöntalersee. Wir packen einen Lunch und heissen Tee in den Rucksack.

Der Klöntalersee ist ein Bergsee und liegt im Kanton Glarus. Letztes Jahr an einem heissen Sommertag, sind wir auch hinaufgefahren und haben die frische Bergluft genossen. Die Berge und die Bäume spiegeln sich im See und bilden eine wunderschöne Farbenpracht.

Nach einer langen Fahrt sind wir endlich angekommen. Im ersten Augenblick erkennen wir den See nicht. Er ist nämlich gefroren und schneebedeckt. Es ist erst 13:00 Uhr und bereits schattig. Die Landschaft scheint fast in schwarz-weiss zu sein und fasziniert uns sehr. Wir fahren weiter und halten, wo die Sonne noch richtig kräftig scheint. Herrlich dieses Panorama! Unser Herz jauchst bei diesem Anblick. In der Eiskälte schlürfen wir unsere mitgebrachte Suppe und trinken unseren Tee. Meine Familie muss sich mit mir gedulden, da ich an mehreren Stellen anhalten will, um schöne Aufnahmen zu machen.

Trotz sehr warmer Kleidung macht sich die Kälte spürbar. Aber es hat sich definitiv gelohnt ins Klöntal zu kommen, denn es sieht fantastisch aus.
