Kriya Yoga is a path of discipleship, so there must necessarily be a Guru of that lineage, whether alive or not does not matter. While one needs to be trained and initiated into Kriya Yoga, the technique is freely available to all true spiritual seekers, including householders (this is the promise of Mahavatar Babaji).

So trying to reveal (or learn) this technique, even incorrectly, is an act of sloth and dishonesty. No good will come out of it.

Be a true Yogi.

P.S. I do agree that YSS (or SRF) has become a political, & bureaucratic organisation, and can delay Kriya initiation unnecessarily, but there are other organisations founded by disciples of Yogananda which have a more joyful & positive outlook towards disciples.

Original autobiography of Yogananda says it differently. They changed some things and also his name from Paramhansa to Paramahansa after his death.

It's flawed and misleading. Disregard it. Instead, head straight to YSS (Yogoda Satsanga of India) or SRF (Self Realisation Fellowship, in Countries other than India), both founded by Paramhansa Yogananda for genuine Kriya Yoga teachings.

Without genuine (and safely) initiation nothing happens. Initiation is a Transmission. It is the spark that lights the fire. The turning of the key to switch the Engine. Careful starting practicing in this way. It's your karma. It's your action. Krya is Science and a living process. There is no shortcut.

I see judgemental comments how it should be this way or that way when it is the creator of everything that does the blessing and guides.

First, you need to learn how to pronounce (in the beginning of the video)... KRIYA...
Second, Yogananda and the Masters highly recommend you learn this from a God-Guru (Sat-Guru) because their guidance and help is how you truly accelerate your Spiritual development (7 Human Grade Levels of Revelation, Yoga Sutras 7 Levels, 7 Levels of Buddhism). And the God-Gurus, like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Yogananda, and Lahiri, take on part of your Karma/Sins.
Finally, you need to properly prepare the body and mind to receive the benefits of Kriya Yoga. Otherwise, you are wasting your time. Cheers!

Blind people that want to lead blind people. Both will fall in a pitfall.
Sacred Kriya must be kept secret and given by an authorized Guru to the disciple/s.

These instructions mean nothing without receiving the initiation from a TRUE kriya guru or from his elected disciples.
Second point, the great guru Lahiri Mahasaya said that kriya yoga without the initiation is worthless and that it will bring bad karma to those that will explain the tecnique to the general public.

Thank you for the video. I am concerned at the warnings one always hears, even from those not connected with SRF Fellowship, of finding a guru before attempting this. I am also concerned at the warnings given that one is not a true guru if one accepts money for knowledge and service. But one needs to pay SRF, among the other red flags with them, and no guru has appeared to me yet. I want to evolve, but am a bit confused. Any advice? Thank you.

Yogananda, Babaji, those gurus in this Kriya of Lahiri Mahasaya would never support this "revelation" given here because the Kriyaban who shares it would have taken a vow before and during the initiation promising never to share with others unless given permission from a Kriyacharya, one commissioned to act in their names. This is karmically adharmic, i.e.: goes against the guru-disciple relationship, a lifestyle and life committed to allowing the guru to direct one's life. And frankly Kriya is not given until a "disciple" - emphasized - is deemed ready and willing to devote themselves soley to that relationship through their guru. May we all be blessed to follow dharma and truth with understanding, patience and joy....

If it is real kirya, then you are putting people in danger....to get some views don't do such activities...you need Guru for this technique who can save and guide you....I want to request people not to perform this without Any Diksha of kriya..

This is a sin to share this technique without the proper understanding and without the shaktipat of the guru-disciple initiation, you must remove it or you will have to bear all the karma of misguided peoples on your back

Nobody taught me in this way, it is copy of pranayama technique of swami vivekananda given in rajyog book written by him

Having had Kriya initiation through SRF, this goes against the requirements before receiving Kriya. There was at least about a years lessons prior to being eligible.

On this sacred birth day of the Guru, let me share this, if you are a sincere seeker of God. DO NOT think this is actually the real fire rite of Kriya Yoga, it is NOT. It is not correct and as well, even if you were to happen upon some actual instructions the benefit is not going to be there because it has to be given in initiation by a person sanctioned to do so by the line of SRF Gurus for the blessing and the link to be created, otherwise there is no benefit. These videos while some "may" be well meaning, are false. Anyone who is actually a kriyaban that has received the true blessing by the Masters (the lineage of SRF Gurus), know this for a fact. Apologies to those who are misguided by videos like this. And those who left the Master, Parmahansa Yogananda to create their own organization, as Master told us, "the link was broken".
Seek the Truth, if you are sincere, and God will guide you rightly in this practice. There are no "shortcuts". Jai Guru.
