I work in IT, which has roughly 200 people in it. We have an ITSM tool for managing Incidents, Requests & Problems. We have Azure DevOps for project management. Then we all have our own ways of tracking personal and team tasks, or email task etc... I am a budding software developer and really want to build an App which will sync our work from all these different sources into one place. What you have shown in this video is great and has given me lots of feature ideas for the app. For example, I love the idea of dragging tasks on to a calendar to block out time to complete them. Good job.

Good day Dr. Nitin. Great video. When I attempted to implement your recommendations, I realized that in the new Outlook app for Windows the tasks folder dissappeared. I only see a To-do link heading to the web version of To-do. Are you experiencing the same change? If so, what workaround would you propose for the master list of tasks?

Why use the archaic Outlook Tasks folder when we have Microsoft To Do integrated with Outlook? This video needs to improve a lot

Dr. Nithin, thanks for the content, I want to categorize my tasks; which is straightforward. but I am not able to group teh tasks by Categories in to-do. To do web version has this feature but gets hung if I try to do it for all Tasks. this feature is important for me in Mobile where in I dont have the outlook default tasks view and will still need to follow up or work based on categories; I used an app called "tasktask" in the past which seems to be the only app with this feature but its a 3rd party app, any advise for the same?

Microsoft removed board view from outlook. Terrible decision. Has anyone found a replacement?

Great pace, practical tips and insights. I'm in desperate need of some of this and knew most of it already. You just might have added that little info to bind all of them toghether! Thanks.
One thing I'm still missing though is the possibility to add subtasks to a task. E.g. when converting a mail to a task, I want to be able to break down the tasks into subtask, check them all off and once complete reply to the client, stakeholder, manager the fact it is handled. This simple thing seems unavailable still though :(

Thank you Dr Nitin. I had been using tasks just in Outlook but didn't know it could do so much more, especially tied to One Note and the use of deligation.

What about integration of outlook and teams tasks?

I prefer to see all my taks in To Do. Flagged emails, Planners tasks, OneNote flagged tasks and wvwm tasks created from chats on Teams.

What is the best way to clear out my task lists, to do lists and flagged emails so I can restart from scratch without deleting flagged emails? Thank you.

One thing that I've been missing is to be able to see tasks on a calendar like a gantt chart so that I can see dependencies and see which tasks are holding up other tasks. It could likely also help assess workload. Are there any features that can do this aside from MS project that works within the MS ecosystem?
