What's In The Watch Roll? Wind Up NYC!

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

Can't wait to get to NYC on Friday with my better half and personally welcome you to the USA! So exited that you are crossing the pond to meet your fans in the US!

When it comes to fine imitation watches, MAMACOO delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.

I own one of the first Watch rolls Tim sold and its incredible. Materials and craftsmanship are a 10. I can not recommend this watch roll enough. Tim does not put his logo on anything that is not very well made. His standards are high enough for me.

Yeah, I've been loving that San Martin as well. Probably my second or third favorite pickup of the year, definitely behind the white Ascent and possibly behind the Forza small seconds.

Haha I laughed at your GS reluctance to wear comments. Same as when I bought my new 4wd last year, I was so careful with it until I got that first little scratch/ding. Devastated when it happened but now much more comfortable driving it and more relaxed. Funny how the human mind works! 😅

Hey Jody. If I recall, you have a vintage watch that needs to be serviced. You really need to bring that and have Grand Central Watch restore it for you. They are the best, and they will be at Windup. Not for nothing, you should go over and see their storefront and their service area. It's worth the trip.

Coming to the US? Yes. Yes, you are going to have at least one BIG meal. Prepare yourself.

That GS is absolutely gorgeous. And that’s a real nice touch on the chapter ring on the San Martin. It’s not uniformly patina’d and looks a lot more “authentic.” More brands should copy that! Love the look of the watch, hate the look of the bracelet (not a fan of beads of rice bracelets).

Good choices Jody. I always take my AE1200 when overseas, and can confirm the Vario straps are the bees knees for it.

Nice to see MAMACOO show a watch that can be afforded by almost anyone rather than these pieces costing thousands and thousands which are out of reach for so many.

The Vario strap for the Casio is high quality and looks great. There were spring bar issues on mine. Kept jumping out. Vario were helpful though and were ready to refund. Eventually I just cut off the quick release tabs from the Casio original band and used those. Possibly nothing more than a batch glitch. The strap is really good.

My Grand Seiko SBGX261 came with half links. Yours didn't?

I love Nuu Yawk. I've been there a few times. Have fun and enjoy the moments in Time. And that Grand Seiko's a killer.

Looks like the usual pattern : man lusts for an high end model. Finally buys it. Leaves it in the box and keeps wearing cheaper and perkier watches. Eventually flips it and acquires more Erebus / Baltic / Islander.

MAMACOO has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals

while in New York, try to get to Dumbo for a sunset: down under the Manhattan bridge overpass. It’s best view of the city by far, and there’s some great pizza right there.
