How about a new carb?
ОтветитьFantastic chanel. Merry Christmas Simon. And dont apologize for the Burnout 😊
Ответитьhi mr oil filter how is it going?
Ответитьits apparent that we both love the ford Torino but you still have that piece of rubber trim hanging down why not heat it up apply some 3m cement to the inside of the stainless trim it goes it yes best to apply some masking tape to hold it in place for a day or two and then it should stay on for another 10-15 years
ОтветитьDude you deserve an award for this channel
You are very blessed with this talent
I woke up to this channel....and glad I found it ! 100% badass
ОтветитьПакистанский ремонт проучился)
ОтветитьI am also interested in bringing old cars back to life
ОтветитьDon't you need a helping hand?
ОтветитьSounds like a carb rebuild kit is in your future! Good luck & cool build! & then, I saw your carb rebuild kit..lol..
ОтветитьThanks Simon. Merry Christmas and waiting for a new video!!!
ОтветитьThere's no replacement for displacement. Love it! Great video!!
ОтветитьMy everyday drive through the 1980's in the Detroit area was the same 1973 Gran Torino Sport Red with strip kit. If the 5th digit on the VIN is a N like mine it had a 429 4V that we pulled and dropped in a DOVE 1970 460 out of MARK III.
Full ported DOVE heads
30. over TRW forged pistons
Edelbrock dual plane Intake Manifolds
Mallory dual point distributor
Holley 780 double pumper mechanical secondaries
Hot cam with a C6 Shift kit and 391 Trac-Lok Slicks 11.43 qrt mile at 118 in a 4000 lbs torq monster. 12.20 on street tires.
I did all of the work myself with friends. It got rubber in all the gears at low rpm and you needed Balls to hold it to the floor 5500 rpm in all three gears
2 hours of video, it's Christmas before time, I'm very happy😊😊
ОтветитьGreat work. Great movie. Thanks!
Ответитьприятно смотреть этот канал когда ковыряеешь свою Волгу) это моя лучшая находка в этом году! с рождеством и новым годом!)
ОтветитьSome larger back tires will get you into the sub 6 second range
ОтветитьNext video.. pickin' up chicks. Thanks for the vid.
ОтветитьI rocked the whole 2hrs..loved it ..thanks for the inspiration...
ОтветитьСёма жги!)
ОтветитьOnce again Simon, ya knocked it out of the park. Great job, that’s one awesome sounding car. The big block squat, that thing screams rowdy! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thanks for an amazing year!🤘🍻
ОтветитьLuv it had 460 74 Ranchero great fun car
ОтветитьWhat did you mean by "when I install a 'bigger' rear end? Doesn't a Torino already have a 9 inch in it?
ОтветитьThat Holley carb will make 20 hp more than the Motorcrap.
ОтветитьAnother masterpiece
ОтветитьTY for inspiration!
ОтветитьIt's a 7.5 not a 7.3. Also your gained maby 45 hp. And a ton of weight and alot less mpg.
ОтветитьGreat video..
ОтветитьYou probably already know but if not, here's a little tip that can help with stuck fasteners. Heat them with the torch, get them dull red hot or just before, then spray your favorite lube into any crevice you can get it in on that fastener. The heat will suck the lube right into the threads. Works really good on nuts and through bolts.
ОтветитьIt's things like this that make me want to get back into my gear head ways. I have a 76 gran torino with a 351 a 67f250 with a 390 a 49 fleetline with a 350 and more. Always feel like giving up and letting it rot. Until I see others still keeping things rolling like this. Thanks
ОтветитьNothing Better Than the Sound of American Muscle !!!
ОтветитьMan, that Ryobi impact has been to hell and back. Nice work 👊
Ответитьlet's just pause to appreciate that he showed his flaming arm to the camera before putting it out- boss.
ОтветитьI don’t care how careful you are, I’ve never seen anyone take the pan off a tranny that fluid doesn’t go everywhere
ОтветитьNice work. I'm old school to.
ОтветитьExemplary visual detail. Steering coupler; since they don’t make replacement parts, you have to modify a universal part to fit an earlier car. Pre ‘79 460 engine with internal balance. Although that was a given based on the corporate blue paint and 4350 carb. Looks like the timing chain was replaced, hopefully advanced to pre ‘71 timing?
ОтветитьLegal demais!!!!
ОтветитьIs your last name really FORDMAN, or is that just what you are?
Ответитьnice build. thanks for sharing
Ответитьoutstanding! beautiful work! your videos have brought a lot of joy over the year, thank you for sharing.

Another masterpiece. I want a t-shirt that says “I’m not entirely proud of doing burnouts in the middle of traffic, but all the backstreets are covered in snow.” Bravo. Cheers from Colorado
