Yaaaay I love your videos! I have some fp insoles as well (a different model though), I didn't think something like that would be such a drastic improvement but it was!
Would definitely like to hear your thoughts on the discotrux, I don't think there are too many videos out there

Thanks for the updated video, your first one on the bonts helped towards me buying mine. Totally agree with the bearings and the insole, so bad which is such a shame for an expensive package. I was a total beginner and had street flows which I adore. I’ve only upgraded since doing more parks. Please do a review about the discotrux, I’m sure curious as heard mixed reviews! 😃

I love mine and your first review helped me decide on these skates. The only issue I have with mine is the kingpin catches on stalls and drop ins a bit. This is a bit strange when it didn’t happen at all with my Chaya

Great review, and I agree with several of your points—the Velcro and insoles in particular. Same experiences with those. Replacing the ínsole makes a huge difference. I’m a newby park skater; would love to hear your review of the Discotrux as I’m still using the stock setup on one pair I own. I have a 2nd pair mounted on SureGrip Avanti plate which I (maybe?) like even better. I have the Street Flow Wheels which are a tad softer and have been perfect for me so far; they already feel so much harder than what I was used to using as a street/trail skater over the past year and a half.

This isn't really relevant to this particular video, but I would love to see a tour of the skates that can be seen behind you!

A great review, thanks for sharing! I’d love your opinion. I’m returning to skating after 20 years and do mainly street skating, cruising, tail skating with a little rink time. I’ve only ever skated in a boot with a heal. I know the Bont Parkstar has a 23mm heal. Would you recommend it for my situation?

I jave been looking forward to buying these skates but they seem to be out of stock everywhere (at least for my size 10). Anyone has a tip on where to get these in the EU?

PS: Thanks for the update on your thoughts, I think it's great to do this since since prolonged use is what is going to bring up all the issues that are not aparent initially

I think it’s awful that a pair of skates that is soooooo expensive have such poor quality and get damaged like that after just a year and a half. I’ve got skates that cost 1/10 of the price of the bonts, have had them for over a year, and are still in perfect shape minus a few scratches from falling. I was thinking of buying a pair of these, but now I won’t, wont waste my money on them

Cool vid. I have seen bont replacement ankle straps but only customisable ones at a higher cost.

Thank you, this was a great review! I would love to see the review of the wifas! And especially how they compare to the bonts for park skating! I am debating between the two, so I am curious what you think!

Great review, Bont has the skate straps in the accessories area and you could get your color it looks like. Also where did you get you disco trux I can’t find them anywhere.

Ive only had bad experiences with abec bearings. Reds never let me down even when you can hear the sand and dirt grinding around inside.

Would these be wasted on me if I don't intend to do any aggressive skating? I'm having a hard time finding a high quality (with at least an adjustable toe stop) flat boot. Maybe I should try the Prostar instead of the Parkstar.

Hi! Thank you for the in depth review. I’m a baby skater and I’ve signed up for a roller derby 8 week course. I’m looking at getting a pair of skates that could be pretty universal as I don’t know if I just want to stick to roller derby but I don’t have the budget for multiple skates. Would the Bont ParkStars be good for an initial skate that I could use in Roller Derby and park skating?

Let me know in the comments what you think of my review ☺️ do you agree? Disagree? What’s your experience been with the Parkstar?
